I wouldn't recommend any pet owner take their pet to the Banfield facilities. We took both our dogs there for over 11 years, paid tens of thousands of dollars for their insurance plans, surgeries, medication, etc. but at the end realized what a huge mistake we had made. Most recently we lost our lab of 11 years. When we needed Banfield the most, they turned us away even when they knew that we had insurance at their facility. Because it was an emergency situation, we called another Banfield location on Redwood Road and they turned us away as well because they said that the doctor was on a lunch break. We ended up at Lone Peak Vet in Draper and they took us in immediately and even went the extra mile to transport him to an emergency facility without charging us for it. It was the first time for us to go there and we feel that they treated us better than Banfield ever did in the 11 years. Don't waste your money and don't risk your pet's life in Banfield's hands. When Banfield heard that we lost our pet, they did call us and let us know that both of their centers should have never turned us away. However, when we needed them most, they refused to see us.
