While my dog was getting neutered they went ahead and gave him a checkup while he was knocked out. They found a tumor in his mouth and gave me a possible diagnosis and a referral to a specialist. After the specialist removed the tumor, he sent it to a lab. Burke Animal Clinic's diagnosis was right on the money. He's missing 3 teeth and part of his jaw now, but it could have been a lot worse. Recently, my dog got attacked by another dog at a dog park. I brought him in hoping they could check him out without an appointment. I called while on my way and the receptionist was a little rude, saying, "The doctor is booked so you'll have to wait. The soonest they could see you would be [in 2 hours]." I don't think she understood what was going on. I brought him in anyway hoping they could do better. The doctor saw him almost immediately, sewed him up, and gave him a drain. I was pretty pleased seeing as how this was all last minute.

After having multiple negative experiences at a Tyosn's Corner area animal hospital, I was fortunate to discover Burke Animal Clinic. I have now taken 3 different pet (2 dogs, 1 cat) to Burke Animal Clinic, and would highly recommend. Dr. Goseline is always very gently, thorough, & caring, and presents me with all options, so that I am comfortable with the course of treatment. I get the feeling that they have a personal interest in me and my pet, and that it is not just about dollars, like at some other practices. I love that they offer cutting edge treatments, such as VOM, laser, and stem cell replacement therapy. Burke is a bit out of the way for me, but it is well worth the trip.

I have been going to Burke Animal Clinic for 16 years and I love the vets and the staff. My wirehaired dachshund, Lola, is a senior dog now and the vets have provided me with many options to keep her healthy and improve the quality of her life. A few weeks ago, she was so ill with an infection that I thought she was at the end (she also stopped eating). The vets provided her with antibiotics and fluids and took great care of her. Although she improved, she did not return to her normal health. So they then gave her non-traditional treatments - bicom, VOM, and accupuncture. I am amazed at how much she has improved! She's eating, barking, and is back to being her bouncy self. For some "typical" measures - their prices are fair, it is easy to make an appointment (the receptionists are fantastic!), the clinic is easy to find and the vets take the time you need during the appointment and follow-up afterward.

Our two cats get wonderful care here, since adopted almost 2 years ago. They were recommended by the adoption organization and we're glad they were. Friendly and flexible, with reasonable prices for fantastic care!

Ridiculously overpriced and NOT compassionate towards cats. Might be good with dogs, I wouldn't know, but they are outright insensitive to felines and their owners. AVOID THIS PLACE!
