I use Deepwood's large animal practice for my horse. They are terrific. Best Vet Tech I have ever seen in all my years in the industry and Dr. Meyers' knowledge and skills are unparalleled. He is an expert radiologist and has seen so much that he catches things that more other vets simply don't see.

I have been a client for about 15 years, I used to drive from Alexandria all the way out to the original office back in the neighborhood in Centreville. Dr. Poole rocks, as does the staff, I feel very strongly that this is the best place around to take my pets and will continue to do so. You can't go wrong with Deepwoods!

I have been a client of Deepwood's for over 10 years. My family thinks the world of Dr. Wanda Poole and the vet tech Kim. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the front office staff. The people who answer the phones are rude, inflexible and have zero customer service skills. I have literally spent over $10,000.00 at the clinic going back to when it was a single wide trailer on a lot. The current staff of receptionists could care less about long term customers. The practice has extremely high overhead costs and will bill you for anything they can under the pretense of being necessary. God forbid you actually have a sick animal they will shove an "emergency visit charge down your throat and act like there doing you a favor" It is a sad state of affairs to see a once great veterinary practice head down this road. To lose touch with the people who helped them build the practice. Business rule #1 states "If you don't service your customers someone else will" Farewell Deepwood.

We've had 4 rescue dogs in our family. Deepwood was recommended to me by our neighbor and I've been so grateful. The staff, especially the techs and vets, are wonderful with our dogs and seem to genuinely care for and love them. The dogs are nervous upon entering, but the staff calms them down with soft, gentle words, and helps them to be on their best behavior. When our first two dogs had to be put down due to cancer and other major issues, the staff was more than compassionate and helpful. Their knowledge of the issues my dogs faced was wonderful. The only complaint I have is their sweet bunny /cat cage in the lobby. The goal is to have them visible so that they can be adopted out, but my strong prey drive dog thinks they're there for her to drool and whine over!
