I have been fortunate to be a client of Maire Mahanes and her excellent staff for twenty years. They have care for all of my cats. Even when I lived in NYC, I would bring my cats to Charlottesville to see them. The calm dog free environment is beneficial when nervous and frightened kitties are needing medical attention. We are fortunate indeed to have this practice to oversee our cats' needs.

When I lost my elderly cat to diabetes, Cat Care's considerate staff did everything they could to make her comfortable and to ease her passing. A few weeks after the loss I received a beautiful hand-written note of condolences. Months later they are caring for my new adopted fur ball of adorable trouble. Having a background in Veterinary Technology myself I can attest to the skill of the staff and am thoroughly impressed by their compassionate handling.

I love Charlottesville Cat Care! Our cat Tia has been a patient for over 12 years. They have a loving & caring team that were so helpful during our struggles getting Tia healthy last year. The staff at Charlottesville Cat Care were amazing! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

We're no longer in Charlottesville but we lived there for several years, and the vets at Cville Cat Care were always wonderful. One of our kitties HATES the vet and turns pyscho when she visits (even though she's a sweetheart at home--mostly) and the ladies at Cville were always so patient with her. And brave, really, since she was nothing but teeth and fangs during her visits. Our other kitty was simply terrified and they were very gentle and comforting. These vets and vet techs really take good care of kitties, and they are always friendly and great about answering questions.

They've always been friendly and committed, going out of their way to help, and even making occasional house calls after they found out I was a non-driver. They've been deeply supportive and sympathetic since they diagnosed my cat's cancer several weeks ago... and now my vet there is bringing a tech with her, *on their lunch hour*, to make one final house call.
