I love working for an organization that does so much good in the community! Working in the animal welfare world can be tough at times but it's all worth it when you help make a difference for a companion animal and their family.

I will NEVER go here again! I hate that it's the closest emergency vet by me, but I will drive hours never to go here again! I had taken my sick cat to them a few months ago, the vet (I don't know her name) was so indifferent when she told us we had to put him down. Not only that, but it had taken her 30 minutes to come back! So my poor cat was suffering and she was taking her sweet time. WORST NEUTERING EXPERIENCE. I had taken my other cat to get neutered and they suddenly got this rush of rescued animals which apparently had taken priority since I didn't get my cat back until TWO HOURS after the time they told me. I heard there was only one vet and right now (one week later) my cat is skinny, dehydrated, and has loose stool. Not to mention they lost his rabies certificate I got from his GOOD vet, and gave him another only 2 months later! I wish I could go back and gladly pay 200$ more for a real vet to do it. They are very understaffed, and the vetsare just unprofessional. The only good thing is the front desk staff. I was consoled by one of the receptionists my first visit and I thanked her for that. I'm sure if there was a malpractice on animals, this place would be a thousand times under. Which is HORRIBLE because it's a humane society and it's heartbreaking these pets that need forever homes are in their care.

We adopted our dog from a rural animal control facility. They do not vaccinate or spay/neuter before adopting pets out. A friend of mine referred me to the care clinic. She had her barn cats spayed/neutered. The clinic has been great. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. I had a surgical appointment within a week, the check in process was smooth, the surgical update and check out were just as easy. I am glad the clinic was available so that I may rescue a pet from a shelter, be a responsible pet owner and save a few dollars in the process. I recommend them to everyone!
