I arrived 10 minutes late to pick up my dog, and they tacked on a $21 "boarding fee." The threat is that if I don't pay, they will send my newly neutered dog to the kill shelter by 3PM. Well, I am unemployed and do not have an extra $21. I could understand if I was an hour late, or even 30 minutes. I had told them before that I had a long way to drive, and tried to pick my dog up the day before but they would not allow that. Right now I am going through the furniture trying to get change together and hope I can find enough before they send my "abandoned dog" to the kill shelter. I have already paid them for her spay and rabies shot. So beware their fees tacked on at the end. Inexpensive and compassionate NOT!!

I took both my dogs (a Morkie and a Schnauzer) there to get neutered within the pst 6 months. They were both handled well, the surgery went fine and they are doing great. Mountain View also gave them both their rabies shot beforehand and saved me from having to make a whole other appointment. They have a few open hours when you can call to check on your pet after his/her procedure and were great about aftercare instructions. Great price. My only complaint would be that they don't stagger appointment times. So when you show up, be prepared to wait in a long line. Highly recommended.

We took our 2 baby pugs to have them spayed, microchipped and given vaccinations in December 2012. We were called 1 hour later to tell us that one of our puppies had died and that they were sorry. I have since researched spaying pugs and found that the air tube must be inserted and kept in during recovery until the pug is standing because of their known respiratory problems. If I could find this out in 20 minutes of research, I find it appalling that a vet wouldnt have researched this as well. I do this myself at my own job, I would expect a vet who is dealing with a living animal to be even more viligant. The vet was "kind" enough to refund the charges for my baby that they killed like this was sufficient or even acceptable. My son was devastated. We purchased our pure breed baby for $600 in addition to puppy visits, etc. The puppy was certainly worth more to us than the money. We had to go out a week later to find another pug to console our other baby pug who cried constantly since the first one was murdered. It would have been nice for the vet to offer to help us with the cost. Our 2nd pug baby is going to another vet today to see why her incision from the spay job that Mountian View Humane did is not healing and looks lumpy and infected. All I can tell you is if you love your animal, dont take them here. Our new baby will be going elsewhere. We have suffered enough anquish and cannot recommend this "vet" to anyone so I beg you, if you love your pet DONT TAKE THEM HERE!

We took our kitten into them and we were instantly greeted with a smiling face. They were so kind to our kitten and made sure we were fully informed. They did a great job with the spaying. I highly recommend them!

Staff is very friendly and they done a great job spaying my baby. Price is cheapest around!! Taking my other dog tomorrow
