Pathetic excuse for a Veterinary Hospital. A one star rating is being generous and only given because it does not allow a no star rating. The wellness plan is a scam promising a top notch animal hospital. In reality it is an understaffed facility that has one unqualified veterinarian and one receptionist that doubles as his assistant. Try to get an appointment for and injured pet and nothing is available for days because they are booked with general checkups and vaccinations. After two days of waiting the price quote given for them to see my limping dog was $420 up front, which included a consultation charge for the x-rays. Their excuse was that the Banfield veterinarian is not qualified so the x-rays have to be sent out to a real vet. I could not wait any longer with my pet in pain so I took her to Lees Hill Pet Hospital and Dr Kensek got us right in ahead of general checkups and vaccinations. In less than 20 minutes she had discovered and fixed the problem with my dogs foot that was causing her pain. The bill was $75. I fell for Banfields corporate advertisement promising a full service pet hospital, but I have found a real (and qualified) vet just down the street. BEWARE OF THE BANFIELD SCAM.

I've been with Fredericksburg/Massaponax Banfield for countless years and refuse any other Banfield due to the Staff, mainly Dr. Reid. The Staff is much more attentive to our needs than any other Banfield and Dr. Reid is very concerned about her clients that she has even checked up on us during her days off. I am very Impressed with her levels of expertise. I found Dr. Reid my absolute final search in looking for a Veterinarian for all my animals. She is very professional and knowledgeable for both my cats and dogs. Thank you Banfield for having such a wonderful Doctor, finally. Keep up the GREAT work Staff of Fredericksburg and love Dr. Reid. I love Dr Reid and Emily, but all the doctors and techs here are wonderful. They treat my pets like they would their own pets. I have a cat with kidney failure, and they have gone above and beyond to help us deal with this. I've had all my pets on Banfield Wellness plans for over 13 years, and they are a great deal. I recommend them to anyone with a pet, and I highly recommend this particular location as well.

I had to take my dog here for some stitches recently. Not only did they fit me in last minute (literally), but they didn't act inconvenienced at all. Dr. Reid was so very sweet and energetic, for a second my vet-clinic-phobic dog almost forgot where she was. She was very patient with my questions and helped me learn something (like maybe I can't manage everything myself) without being condescending or preachy. She also didn't push when I told her we couldn't take the pain killers because my dog doesn't handle them well. She's worked with greyhounds before too, which makes me feel good about bringing my whippet here. I will consider coming back here for an annual check up.

They were excellent! I wasn't happy with my pups original vet and decided to go here. The vet and vet assistant was so great with my puppy they actually took time to interact with my dog before they did anything. I was very impressed and will be going back! Thank you Banfield!
