This place is the best ever. My dog wasn't getting enough exercise and became destructive at home. I looked at a few places and saw that Freed had been rated high for doggy daycare. I took my dog here 3 days a week now. She loves it. She hasn't chewed anything up yet since. Dr.McSheehy has also done an excellent job treating her for skin conditions and is always willing to take the extra time to research it and make sure my Pumpkin gets the best care. I highly recommend this clinic for its clinic and daycare services.
The doctors here I could tell love what they do. Not only were they kind and loving to my dog but also super personable with me and my young kids as well. My dog was very old and I ended up having to put her down. I did not feel like they judged me for my decision at all. They were very empathetic and very helpful through the heart wrenching process. Some of the tests I had to run on my dog were about what I'd pay anywhere else. They recommended xrays and other tests but I decided to wait for the results from the blood test first. I could have paid a lot but the front desk staff was very helpful and informing me that I get to decide which tests or xrays should be done and not to just do everything the doctor recommends. I respect their honesty and love for people and their pets. Thank you to all the doctors and staff at Freed for helping me set my sweet old girl free.
We have gone to Freed's for years - with several dogs. The loudest statement I can make is that our dogs love going there. We feel comfortable that they are getting quality care. One of our dogs has some fairly serious health concerns and as a result we often receive phone calls checking on her - that's good service and customer care.
Dr. Cain is wonderful. My 13 yr. old girl came in because she was having a hard time getting up. She drew blood and checked her for arthritis. A big snow storm came in that night so the labs coming back were delayed. Dr. Cain called us twice at home the day after the storm checking on our dog! I was totally impressed that she did that! As soon as she got the labs, she personally called us to tell us our baby needed surgery for a severe infection. She took wonderful care of her and showed genuine concern. The 2 women at the front desk were very personable. I read the past reviews and maybe these women are different because they were very kind and efficient in taking care of discharging our dog and general conversation. We never had to wait.
Had to take my dog 'Holly" there for emergency surgery, the veterinarian and staff were great.Everyone showed compassion and concern to both Holly and myself. If you love and care for your pet...this is the place to go.
