They are such a fantastic office! My kitten has been battling health issues for the last 3 weeks and I've been in multiple times. They have done everything they can to help him and to help me through the process. Would highly recommend!

I work in the animal health field for a long time and have had all my animals cared for by Clocktower for almost 20 years. They are exceptional across the complete staff.

Being new to the area I needed to find a new Vet for our Dachshund. The immediate need as we were unpacking boxes was anal glands and toe nails clipped. Upon entering the lobby of Clocktower I was greeted by an unfriendly employee. I explained being new the area and needing a Vet and asked if they performed those services. I was told they do in fact do those services but only for "clients." There was no invitation to become a client only a dismissive attitude. I asked if she could recommend anyone locally who could help with my immediate needs and I was offered "Petsmart." Thanks for your help. I found VCA Herndon-Reston Animal Hospital. The employees were great and service was excellent!

Worst experience ever! I am a new dog owner and I found that my dog appeared to be sick. We came in to have her checked they didn't want to give her medicine. So we went home. Later that night my dog was having choking fits. I called urgent care and explained what was happening. The next day I called when the animal hospital opened to let them know about the new events that occurred. I asked if I could bring her in, I was told NO....They were all booked for the day. I asked if the doctor could call me before the end of the day to see if they thought we should be seen. I didn't receive a call until 5:15pm. With that being said they were now closed. I called back the next morning to express my concerns. I spoke with the Director of the Animal Hospital, which was extremely condescending. Expressed no concern for the situation or animal. He told me I could have brought her in, even though I was told the exact opposite. We have moved on to a new animal hospital. NEVER AGAIN!

Saved our dog's life, and with real concern - we love them! One winter morning, I was getting ready to head somewhere and let our dog out back for a few minutes while I put my things in the car. He had been fine. A minute or two after I let him out, he was sitting very still by our back fence, in a spot he didn't tend to hang out; the next minute he was lying on his side, not moving. When I got to him, he was breathing but completely limp. No response whatsoever. I rushed him to Clocktower - calling to say we were coming. They were ready when we arrived. I don't know all of what they did, but they managed to get him to a point where he was moving around a little. From Clocktower, he went to the emergency vet in Vienna, the Hope Center. The doctors there kept working on him, and he stayed over until we were finally able to bring him home, weak but alive and on a special diet for a long time. The whole ordeal was horribly long and expensive, but we still have our dog and he seems perfectly fine today. While he was sick and for some time afterward, the folks at Clocktower kept in touch with us regularly, checking to see how he was doing. Even now, a few years later, they remember him and what he went through and people will sometimes pop in to see him when we're over there. How well did they treat him? He gets happily excited when we get there. Today, other than a sometimes sensitive stomach, he seems normal. If it wasn't for Clocktower and the Hope Center and the wonderful, caring staff at each, he would be dead. What was it that caused his non-responsiveness? We never did find a definite cause. It could have been a spider or snake bite, but there were no obvious marks. He could have nibbled on something that fell from one particular bouquet I had in the house at the time that was shedding, but he wasn't one for chewing on all that much other than toys and certain plastic items (not toys - things he'd find around) and they didn't find anything obvious in him or in his blood. We're just glad he's still with us. Cc:ing most of this review to the Hope Center, as they also earned our kudos.
