Head and shoulders above the rest almost without exception. I have 3 cats, and Dr. Miller has always been great! I disliked the bedside manner of the male vet at Boonsboro Animal Hospital, and after discovering friends of mine had the same feelings, I decided to visit Addison Animal Hospital. I've been going there ever since (about 3-4 years now). Dr. Miller is thorough, knowledgeable, and reassuring, and I don't feel as if I'm putting him out when I ask questions. He's always been fun to interact with and I sense that he genuinely cares for my cats. One time I did have a slight disagreement with the staff over a summer shave-down to my long haired Tabby, Nala. Her haircut was choppy and unprofessional looking, and they charged me $80 for it because they had to sedate her. I signed off on this possibility from the beginning, and was fine that it occurred, but thought the haircut was too choppy given the sedation and its price tag. I talked with Dr. Miller about my dissatisfaction, and he chalked it up to the notion that they only give "basic shavedowns," and suggested that professional grooming services might be in order for me in the future. I felt and still feel that even for a shave-down, the quality was poor. Nonetheless, Dr. Miller was courteous and understanding during our conversation. So, overall I have no complaints, and though I wouldn't recommend their grooming services, I whole-heartedly recommend their veterinary services. Friendly, fun, caring.

I'm very impressed and happy with the service and attention we get when we go to Addison Animal Hospital. The staff is competent & friendly, and the rates are very reasonable. I've been taking my cat there for about six years. Dr. Miller has a good manner and is knowledgeable and reassuring. He makes valid suggestions about certain vaccinations and treatments, but I've never felt pressured or manipulated into anything that I didn't think was reasonable. I ask him questions and he is always willing to help. He is respectful of my cat who does not like the vet as much as I do, and who can sometimes react unfavorably to being placed on the table and "prodded". He has never unreasonably restrained or reacted to my cat. I appreciate that. I would recommend Addison Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable and convenient vet.
