I am sad to report that this animal hospital has really changed in the last several years to the point I had to find new doctors for my pets. In my experience over the last several years, they are mostly interested in money and how many expensive tests they can get you to order verses the care and feelings of their patients and pet owners. If you do not want to order their over $750 blood work test, they make you feel like you are an awful person. After switching to another Manassas vet office, I also discovered that the prices are so much higher at Prince William Animal Hospital than most other places I checked in the area...over 30% higher. I sometimes wondered if the doctors were getting bonuses at the end of the month for the amount of tests and surgeries they recommended. Do yourself and your pet a favor and go somewhere else.

The personal, caring attention shown by ALL STAFF when my 1 year old cat Pumpkin fell out of a tree...(cats do that? I guess I have the only dorky cat in Virginia!)...was exemplary. The break was BAD and they not only did a great job at immediate triage, they followed up with surgery (put in a pin), no-rush checkups (they actually spend time with you and your pet-imagine that!), casts and wraps, payment options...they just went above and beyond. The cat loves going there...they remember him and fawn all over him! Professional, personal, caring, responsive...fixed a cat with no tree-coordination, what else can you want? GO HERE, your animal is in good hands.

I have always been more the pleased with there service and quality of work. The answer the phone without a machine and treat you and your pets with the highest regard. Knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I love it! 1cat, 2 dogs (1 Passed)

I have been taking my two chihuahua's to Prince William Animal Hospital since they were babies. At first, I was very pleased for the first several months! The doctors were nice and very informative and the receptionist at the front desk were always the same two girls and really nice. Lately they have had a bit of change in staff and I'm not pleased at all. My dog recently needed to have surgery to have an undecended testicle removed and also get neutered. For the $525 it cost me, i'm VERY disappointed. This is my first dog so I don't know anything about the care of a dog after surgery and all I was handed was a discharge paper to sign and that's it. Absolutely ridiculous. The new girl at the front desk was a snooty little snob and didn't appreciate her attitude. I won't be returning to Prince William Animal Hospital. The work of the surgery looks poor and they didn't even provide a E'colar to keep my dog from licking the incision.
