We have been going to Reston Animal Hospital for seven years and both of our dogs have always received excellent medical care from the staff. All of the doctors and veterinary assistants are friendly and put both of our dogs at ease. Because we are so comfortable with the staff and facility we also use Reston Animal Hospital for boarding when we travel. They now have Sunday hours and are always willing to get your pet in on short notice or in emergencies. We have never had a negative experience here and heartily recommend Reston Animal Hospital to all pet owners in the area.

I have been consistently over charged at the hospital. The first time was during a nail clipping for my dog. They charged me for 3 people because they cut my dogs nail to short and it bled so bad that a vet had to come in and bandage it. The most recent time was today when my dogs nail was ripped...because they told me to wait between clippings to let the grow longer (something I have never been told at other vets we have gone to in other states we have lived in). I had to pay the same price as a annual exam however they took 13 minutes to look at my dogs nail and clip off the millimeter piece that was hanging off...I could have done that good to know that they wanted to charge $70 for that. I was also told that the doctor took her time to look up and write medicine doses for my dog....she prescribed fish oil and gelatin...which last I checked aren't medicine. Moral of this is DONT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY AN ARM AND A LEG. The only redeeming thing about this place was how nice the vet tech Colby was. However I will not be going back. Find another vet before they rob you blind.

We have never had anything but the best most helpful advice and care at RAH. We have taken our own animals (4 cats, 1 dog) and several of our fosters here. Dr. Garcia found something wrong with one of our foster kittens we had just received that three other vets had just chocked up to being a non playful kitten, and saved his life. The techs are bright, cheerful and very helpful. I would give 5 stars, but they are wallet drainers, but I guess most vets are....

After one visit, and one test, (after years of another local Vet bleeding me dry of money and indifference toward any diagnosis), Reston Animal Hospital doctors found serious problems. They immediately referred me to the HOPE center and they found cancer in my Terriers liver and speen. It is a semi sad story, I hope we caught it in time, but the fact remains, the doctors here are thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. This is the only place to go for exceptional veterinary medicine.

I have been going to Reston Animal Hospital for 6 years. It's expensive everywhere to own a dog/cat these days, so I can't say I love their prices, but I love their staff. Two things always come to mind when I think of this place: I have a tubby cat and they've never made me feel bad for my rolly-polly girl, they just make sure she's healthy and recommend food, but no guilt trips. When I had my dog spayed through a spay service, the service did not give her any pain medications. I called Reston and without any questions they filled an Rx for her. They've been great through all my animals and they're willing to work with you on about anything.
