Dr. Kline is really gentle with animals. Truth be told, she'd rather be working with horses than dogs and cats. She likes people to think that she's British. What she doesn't tell you is that she's actually from Minnesota - born and raised. Last time I checked people from Minnesota have no accent, much less a British one. Let me see, would I trust my animals to someone that likes to lie about her background? Makes one wonder what else she is hiding. I don't think I'll be back to Leavells. I'd rather take my animals to a vet I can trust.

I was in Fredericksburg and needed a vet because my dog was vomiting. My friend who I was visiting reccommended Leavells. I was suprised they were able to fit me in even though I wasn't a client. The staff was super nice and professional. Dr Kline was gentle with my dog Shaggy and gave me options for treatment which I appreciated. Shaggy ended up making a full recovery without needing surgery (yeah!). Wish I lived closer so they could be my regular vet clinic. Prices were reasonable and exactly as quoted. Highly Reccommend!!!

I love taking my two dogs to Leavells. Dr. Puentes is amazing with them even when they are nervous; they calm down as soon as she starts talking to them and gives them some love. Her knowledge and research on a very tricky food allergy was impressive... lots of phone calls to troubleshoot until we found the problem - soy! I am impressed each time by the thorough service Dr. Puentes provides at the yearly wellness visit as well as any unfortunate problems that arise. Thank you!!!

I have been bringing my animals here since 2007. They are wonderful. They answer all my questions. Even some that don't pertain to small animals but equines. We have never had to wait long to get into to see them and their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend them to anybody.

I've used Leavells Animal Hospital for three years now; our adopted dog needed a place to be seen and we chose to go there. Our first visit was gratis, since we adopted the dog--a nice perk which shows where this office stands. We did have an afterhours emergency that was handled by a local animal hospital--I was impressed at how well the two groups communicated. Our regular Vet, Dr. Kline, called several times to make sure our dog was doing well. I've had nothing but good experiences.
