The doctors are so great. I drive from Suffolk to come here. Everytime I go, they sit on the floor and really spend time getting to know my dogs and the problem. I'm always completely satisfied and confident the problem is being corrected. And besides that the prices are reasonable. I won't trust my babies to anyone else.

I've been a client for over 15 years and I wouldn't think of taking my animals anywhere else. The veterinarians and staff are wonderful. They always provide first class care in a friendly, welcoming and caring environment. Love them!

I have been bringing my four legged children to Acredale Animal Hospital since 2002, even when I lived in northeastern NC I still drove to Indian River for vet care. My Ladybug was one of the dogs effected by the bad dog food from China. Doc D. (Mrs.) took care of her, provided amazing services and saved her life. She lived for an entire year after their care. They provided her end of life care too in a respectful, lovely manner. My current BB was quiet the precious puppy and spent many a visit with them due to her curiosity getting the best of her. They have been wonderful, through, and thoughtful. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and helpful. They know your animals when you walk in the door and they make about as much fuss over them as you do. They provide exceptional care at a reasonable price and will provide you with options to care if something comes up and it isn't within your budget. I can't sing their praises enough.

I took my male Yorkie to the Chesapeake Animal Emergency Vet on a Saturday evening. The Vet there did an exam, ran blood work, and told me my Yorkie was in complete LIVER failure. He gave him a shot and said I would need to see his partner Vet on Monday for further testing, an ultrasound, MRI, additional blood work. It was a very upsetting weekend. On Monday morning I called Acredale Animal Hosp. and was able to see our regular Vet, Dr. Alex Delorenso.She kept him at the hospital for the day and had an Ultrasound performed. All of his organs including the Liver are in perfect condition! He does have thickening of the intestines and will require being on a No-Fat diet for the rest of his life. She also put him on prednisone until his check up in 3 weeks. Well, after 3 days my little man was acting like his normal happyy go lucky self. All the build up of stomach fluids was gone. At his check up Dr. Alex ran a new blood test and all of his levels are normal. He continues on the new diet and is off the prednisone. We have been clients of Acredale Animal Hosp. for many years, currently we have 5 dogs, this is the first serious illness, and I am so Thankful for the wonderful staff, I don't know what I would do without Dr. Alex. She is the most caring person, knows all my dogs and their personalities, and truly listens and explains in detail. I have NEVER felt rushed during a visit.
