Excellent We have been taking our 2 dogs, Hugo and Skimmer to Dr. Soles and his staff at the Animal Medical Center for over 8 years. They are very caring and do a very thorough examination. They spend plenty of time providing us with great information on taking care of our dogs and treating them if they have a problem. We are very satisfied with their services and our dogs love them too.

I love this place, and so do my 2 dogs. My Pug trots right in like he owns it, my mutt is a little leery of anything but she knows she's going to get taken care of. I've never had a problem here, whether scheduling an appointment or seeing a Dr. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My Pug have been going here since a puppy, Cindy Adair was his first Dr. He doesn't get to see her every time, but all the Dr's are wonderful caring people. You have to have a good relationship with your Vet, your pet will sense this. While I don't know any of the staff personally, I trust them professionally with my "babies."

Fantastic Clinic! I have been taking the family pooch (yellow lab) to Animal Medical Center for over ten years. Always receive first rate service and care. Front desk is very personable and efficient! Everyone is very compassionate and caring. The doctors take the time to listen to you and explain everything thoroughly. We have always been very pleased. Highly recommended!!

I have been using this vet since 2005 with only a few minor problems that I could overlook, such as no reminder cards about vaccines or reminder cards that were printed with the wrong dates on them so I would make an appointment and then once I got there was told my pet didnt need anything done. Waste of my time, but things I can overlook. However, today I was treated so unfairly! I had called on Monday becuase my male cat had blood in his urine, spoke extensively to the woman and she even put me on hold to speak with the vet to figure out what we should do next since we have had this problem before. The vet wanted a urine sample, so I was told to come in Wed morning between 9-9:30am so they could get one. (That is today) I got there at 9:10, first off they couldn't find my chart for 20 minutes. I sat and waited patiently. Once they found my chart the woman said she didn't know who I had spoken to, but that things like this needed an appointment, so I would have to have an office visit. Okay. She told me no one had noted in my chart I was coming in, questioned me about the phone call again. Seemed like she didn't believe me, even though they found my chart on the office manager's desk, which proved the chart had been pulled for some reason. So I sat and waited. 5 people came in, barely sat down before they were taken back to a room with their pets. Finally at 10:10am, after waiting an hour, I stated that I wanted to know how long it would be. After all this was supposed to be an in and out thing to get a urine sample. She went to the back to "check", came out and said she didn't know how long it would be since they had to work me in. I told her I should not be made to sit here because you guys screwed up! She basically came across again that they didn't believe I had called. So I told them I was not waiting, I had to get home to my 11 month old and I had another appointment in 2 hours. Ms. Robyn said well he needs to be seen since he has blood in his urine. I told her I knew that and would be finding a new vet for my 6 cats that was competent. I asked if there was a way to make a formal written complaint, she said I could write one and that she would make sure the vet got it. Yeah right! Like I'm going to trust someone to give a complaint about themselves to the head vet!!!! On my way home, I called my husband who proceeded to call the vet. They stated I hadn't been waiting an hour and that 10 minutes after I left they could have seen me since another patient was late. Again, basically stating to him they didn't believe I had called in since noone had wirtten anything in my chart. He told them he wanted our records and would be there in 15 minutes. They copied our reords and he drove the 15 minutes back to the vet office to pick them up. I would not recommend this vet to anyone, which is sad because I used to all the time! Very unorganized and if this is the way a person who has 6 cats seen by them, who gives them hundreds of dollars a year, is treated then no one should go there! I wonder now how they treated my cats when they would take them in the back to do blood draws or urine draws. Scary!!!

I Have used Animal Medical Center of VA Beach several times. I have 4 dogs and two cats in my life. I have a new puppy that I brought in. The front desk staff was wonderful and so were the doctors. They went over and above what they needed to do with my new little fluff ball answering all my questions. I would not consider going any where else. When I call for questions or for an appointment, the young women on the phone are extremely friendly and helpful and pleasant. My little puppy that is now 8 months old loves going there.
