BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! this review is to comment on the receptionists at this particular location and not the vets, vet techs, vet assistants etc. I have a possibly very sick dog on my hands, he is more like my son than my dog. I called this hospital to see about getting an appointment. First I was told there were none available today but there were some available tomorrow, if I wanted him seen today I could either be a walk-in OR I could call the two other VB locations to check availability. I checked the other locations--nothing open. I called back, was told there weren't any availabilities until MONDAY (48 hours from tomorrow) and I could not bring my dog there to even be a walk-in until tomorrow morning at 10am. I mentioned to the new person who answered what I had just been told by another employee there PLUS how sick my dog is and she said "I don't know why she told you that... I've been told we cannot take ANY more people today." A vomiting dog who is also running into things. I pay 35/month on a wellness plan in addition to all the other money I spend at this hospital on various medications, both preventive and prescription and how often we are in the store, that staff knows my dog... to be told "NOPE you cannot bring him here...we're overbooked and understaffed..." was just completely heartless. So now, I am going to take him to the ER and pray for the best. I really hate that we're locked into that contract with them or else we would not ever be going into that store again or paying them another penny. They have completely ruined my entire impression of the Banfield brand-- that's what I get for having a chain vet anyway. When this contract is over, I will never choose chain again, I see why everyone goes to local/private vets.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I completely agree with txgirl! The girl at the front desk doesn't have a clue as to what she's talking about!! I have never been so disgusted (multiple times) with any vet my pets have ever been to. We will NEVER be going here again.
