I have a two dogs that I have taken to this vet since I got them (Almost three years). My younger dog, who just turned one, was having issues with her hips. She looked like she didn't have the strength that she needed in her hips to support her. She ran, and played, just more carefully than my older dog. I set up an appointment with Banfield and got in the next day because of a cancelation. When I arrived I was sent into my room. After about a ten minute wait, the nurse comes in and asks me what is wrong. After I finished telling her what was happening she takes my dog into the back room and tells the doctor what I said. The doctor didn't even come in to talk to me before she "examined" my dog! When the nurse brings back in my dog, she looks visibly shaken. She is a mama's girl so I didn't think much of it until this morning. Now here is the fun part... MY DOG WONT EVEN LEAVE HER CRATE, SHE WONT COME DOWNSTAIRS OR PUT ANY WEIGHT ON HER LEFT BACK LEG NOW. I called Banfield today (this all happened yesterday) and the receptionist didn't even seam to care, and when she talked to the doctor all she did was recommend me to go to the ER. The only reason they got two stars instead of one is because I had never had issues there before. My Doctor was Dr. Cachero so make sure if you bring in a pet that you don't get her! She makes your poor animal worse then sends you somewhere else.

We have been bringing our little fur baby in since the beginning of April this year. He loves all the vets and assistants there. They are all really friendly & you can tell they love their job. There has been a couple times where we have had to wait over a half hour, but things happen and I work in customer service so I understand that some things are out of your control. Also, there were a couple times where my dog needed to be seen as soon as possible and they said they were booked for like the next 4 days, but that I could walk in and wait....Which, when you have a dog with chronic diarrhea, the last thing you want is to be waiting around for who knows how long. Other than those two things, us and our puppy will continue going here (:

I have two dogs signed up with the wellness plan. Initially I thought it would be more convenient but it's not. Any time you want to bring your dog in they are full with no appointments available and even when you get an appointment you are waiting for almost an hour to actually see the vet. When my contract is up I will be leaving this veterinarian for a more personal and caring vet that I can actually go to when one of my dogs needs to be seen.

I called because I was a walk in the lady said is was very slow and it should be quick. after 15min I'm in the room 1HR AND 22 MIN the vet finnialy come in. I looked at my watch and she (DR. KITE) blew up IS THERE A PROBLEM!!!! I stayed claim she check my dog and sent in the billing lady she told me for everything it would be $+190.00 I went to pay the bill they said I could save some money with only 2 weeks of pills instaed of 3 weeks. then they said with saving would be $250.00 WTF. they said my rabbie shot was out of date. so they charged me for another I found out that she had a rabbie shot less then 1 yr ago from another bainfeild. This VET Dr Kite NEEDS TO BE FIRED THIS WAS THE WORST VET VISIT EVER and giving my dog shots that are not needed is wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! be very carefull ask for any other vet other then DR. Kite

I'm glad my baby and I have avoided the same experience as the unfortunate reviewer below. We went in for our first appointment only to be told that the lady who scheduled us (nearly two weeks ago) had scheduled us for a 6 a.m. appointment instead of 6 p.m. My husband, who had been waiting for us to arrive, said that a few minutes previously the attendants had said that there were cancellations and that they were going to take walk-ins. I don't care if we were being lied to or someone misscheduled appointment. I won't trust them with my baby, our time or our money. Too bad, because I liked this Petsmart. My friend has had luck at another one of these. I'm willing to make the drive.
