My over-enthusiastic Doberman puppy got her toe shoved in her Kong Wobbler this morning. I tried icing it and lubing it up to get it out, but to no avail. It had to be cut off and I only had one adult available to attempt it, so knew I couldn't. I was afraid she'd have to be sedated and it'd cost me a fortune. The Doctor and an assistant were able to snip it off with some wire cutters. Because it was such a quick 'emergency' for them, they were able to send me on my way and the cost was extremely little! I was very thankful. They were very quick and professional.

Absolutely horrible practice. While the vet techs were sweet and kind, the vet we saw (rafiq) was abrupt, rude and bullied us into signing for unnecessary treatment. Then when we went to prepay the office receptionist would not take outer check because she said we lived out of state. We live in va! Unbelievable the ignorance that is in this establishment. Throughout the experience no concern was given to our desperately I'll bassett. We left and we're greated with open arms at a more compassionate and knowledgeable practice in Strawbridge. Do NOT take your beloved pet to this vet...they will take your money but offer no quality care to your pet.

I just had a horrible experience at this Emergency Center today. First of all, as I walked through the door there was a coldness and not a very friendly greeting. Everything went fine until they showed me the estimate for the cost of treatment after diagnosis. When I shared dissatisfaction of a particular charge, I was told I should seek out a different facility for his care. The final blow was when the receptionist started yelling as I am gathering my dog and things to leave that she would be sending me to collections for non-payment.Why would I be charged for services never rendered? I was told to seek services elsewhere. Why would I pay anything? What a rip off and non caring place to carry your pet. I ended up at Bay Beach Veterinary Hospital on Virginia Beach Blvd and got the warmth and caring care that I feel my pet deserved. I also saved about $40 on the entire bill. All said and done I was glad I was asked to go somewhere else. It was like an omen. I would not recommend this Beach Veterinary Emergency Center to anyone.

Waited 2 and a half hours and still had no estimate on when I would be seen so I had to leave. The tech was nice and the receptionist was as helpful as she could be given a clearly inattentive doctor with poor time management skills.
