UNBELIEVABLY INCOMPETENT. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. A small cat showed up at our house during a rainstorm one night, and we took it in. The next day we took it to Owl Creek, where we were told it was a neutered male and about 6 months old. A month later when we took it back for shots, and they then told us it was actually at least 1 year old, FEMALE, and had not been spayed. They offered to perform the surgery to spay her for $600. Since we do not have a lot of money we opted to take her to PETA, where they do the same surgery for $45. I get a call a couple hours after I had dropped off our cat, during which PETA's vet informs me that she already has an incision scar from what appears to have been from her already being spayed, and also that she was much older than we had been told. I told them that our vet had told us she had not been spayed and she was only a little bit over a year old. So they go in to find that she indeed already had no uterus or ovaries remaining. We will never take her back to Owl Creek for fear of her health. If they can't tell whether a cat is male or female and whether it has been fixed yet, we can't really trust them to do anything.
