Our family has relied on OCVH for nearly 30 years and spent 10's of thousands of dollars for routine, acute, and specialized care for our pets over the decades. That said, it genuinely pains me to submit a negative review for this clinic. Recent changes with their policies and pricing have turned our once beloved hospital into a money grabbing profit-focused outfit. Will you get good or great care, typically - yes. However, bring your gold card or first born, because it's going to cost you 25% to 100% more for similar care compared to most any other clinic/hospital. Yes, our household can afford their care, but we refuse to get suckered in by their holier than thou attitude any longer. So, if you can spend a lot more, feel free to do so. If you're like us, and are tired of paying waaaay to much, then you might want to shop around. Sad, we will no longer depend on OCVH for the care of our pets.

Everyone here takes pride in their care for our pets. The vets are very knowledgable and friendly and great with both our dog and cat. The doggy daycare is fantastic! My dog comes home tired and happy! Would definitely recommend to everyone!

I love this veterinary. Everyone is so nice here and really treat the animals great. I especially love bringing Biddles here to get his hair cut. Being a Bejon his hair grows fast and tends to cause infections if not pulled out of the ears. I never have to tell them how to groom Biddles. It is also convenient having the vet with the groomer. Once the groomer found a cancer spot when trimming Biddles and we had it removed the next day. Keep up the good work.

This is very nice place for my dog. I was impressed by every staff member. They really try to help in every way. My dog had a very good attitude after her visit and that tells me a lot about the way she was handled.

One of the very best animal hospitals I know of - Anywhere. This hospital has extremely competent doctors and while some of them have changed over the years, the quality remains. Ssomething I especially like about Owl Creek as compared to so many veterinary care facilities is that they hire competent AND nice, personable vet techs and front office people. Seems so often its a choice between nice or competent. Not here! It is obvious they take great care with who they hire. I've seen over time, some people upset with Owl Creek's prices - Well, I think its a classic example of the "You get what you pay for" philosophy. Yes, you often do pay more here, but its worth it. I have to admit though, there have been times I've chosen to go elsewhere for routine things, in order to avoid their prices. While I absolutely feel they are worth it, I do wish their prices were a bit closer to some of the other places so that those of us who really like Owl Creek could just go ahead and use them for everything, from routine care to boarding to serious problems. A note on their boarding - I highly recommend them for cats and for dogs. They have a lovely, comfortable, and VERY CLEAN facility. You just about never smell that "kennel smell" in here. Again though, the pricing can get in the way. While so often I've wanted to use them for trips of longer duration, their prices add up a lot quicker than some of the other places. If their prices were a bit closer to my other choices for boarding I'd probably never use any of the other places. When money is not an issue though, they are always my choice for boarding.
