We have been coming to Pembroke Vet Clinic since about 1998 when we moved here. We have always enjoyed top quality, caring service from everyone there, both the veterinarians and the assistants. Our Doodle always loved her visits with Sarah and Dr. Valliant. Our Tini is still going strong, and enjoys his visits as well. There are those who might think they are a little expensive. But, isn't quality care for your pets worth it? We have always been extremely pleased with the care our pets have received, even when we let them go. I highly recommend bringing your pets to see our friends at Pembroke.

Greater than 20 years ago (1981); my Dad had acquired a black Lab. He started taking him here for routine and other treatments. My wife and I got the dog when my Dad's health went bad. We continued to visit here until our dog pass away with cancer in 1993. We had always been happy with the staff and the quality of his care. We said, "if we ever get another dog, we will return here for their care". Enter 2013; the wife and I adopted a Lab/Pointer mix from the VBSPCA. We came here first; as we had promised ourselves we would, to start his life of Veterinary care with us. We have always been greeted very friendly and promptly. The girls at the counter always come around to say "hi" to our Pup. One administration person who has been working here for 23 years; after explaining our reason for coming to Pembroke and the story behind it, said she remembered my Dad (he could be character) and the dog he had that we ended up caring for. To date; we have again been very happy with each visit and all of our Pups treatments. All the staff seem genuinely concerned for our dogs health and want to give him the best that they can. The Doctor always explains what treatment is being given and the "why" behind it, and how we can continue to help our Pup stay healthy. As for cost; I'm sure folks could find less expensive care but we feel the cost of the quality our Pup receives is well worth any expense. We have also had our Pup boarded here while visiting out of town with relatives and feel he received very good care; all the staff say how good he is when he stays and how much they enjoy taking care of him. For all these reasons, we will continue to use the services of Pembroke Veterinary Clinic for all our pets needs.

The staff and Doctor Valiant at Pembroke Veterinary Clinic have been wonderful over the years of service that they have provided to our pets. They are the top of the line in Hampton Roads!!!

Absolute best veterinary practice in Hampton Roads. The doctors and staff will always tell you a price up front, recommend the best products and educate you about them, and always do what is best for the pet. The reception staff is always friendly- except for the woman who sits at that desk. I think she is the manager and she rarely says anything. But, I have never had a bad experience. I will agree that when I brought my puppy in for a neuter estimate it was very high- especially compared to their other rates. But I have never seen a more caring staff and more thorough exam. Client for life.

When I first called the Vet office I was shopping around since it was my first puppy and he was sick. They told me it was a $50.00 office visit, when I mentioned I was shopping around, and would call back, they quickly waved the fee. Which I was very apprecitive of. There support staff, Vet and every one I have encountered at their office has been great, always smiling and super friendly. I do have to agree that I was quoted some high fees for getting my puppy neutered. Other than that, I've been exteremly satisifed with my experience with them!
