I have been bringing my pets here my entire life, starting as a child accompanying my parents taking our family pets to Dr. Partridge, and now on my own taking my pets to Dr. Lorenz. This is a great veterinary service, all the doctors are so kind and careful and excellent, as are the veterinary technicians. My dog actually gets excited when he realizes that we are in the parking lot there, I think that says it all!
We recently moved to Waynesboro and our Great Dane had a medical emergency. Due to us being here only a few days we had not gotten around to finding a new vet so we had to go with our gut. We lucked out when we called Animal Hospital of Waynesboro! They explained what we needed to do until morning and then got us in as one of the first appointments of the day. Everyone there was wonderful and extremely helpful considering it was a very unexpected visit. The vet actually took all our pup's vitals and general check because the tech's were busy with another patient that was not as happy about being there. Our Great Dane is timid at first and everyone showered her with love and attention which got her to come right around. Even in the pain she was in she left a happy camper. They explained everything possible to me prior to letting us leave and made sure that I was comfortable with the results of the exam and care provided. The nicest thing though was that we not only got an email from the office, but also a phone call to follow up and check on our pup. The office staff made an unexpected experience as positive as possible. My dane was feeling better soon after leaving the office thanks to the care this office provided her.
We have had only wonderful experiences with all the vets at Animal Hospital. We have six cats and a dog, so we've been there a lot! All the vets are professional and caring. The only reason I gave a four instead of a five star rating is that I am also interested in a holistic perspective alongside the western medicine one from my vet. Other than that, we have always had very positive experiences.
We love this animal hospital. Our dog 12 year old soft coated Wheaton Terrier named Meghan tore her acl in her leg. Stacey operated on her after 4 months and follow up visits and treatment which included therapy she is doing great. We find the care fantastic and vets who really care about their animals and the care they give them. I would highly recommend this Animal hospital.
Responsive staff and great doc made all the difference to me and our pup.
