The staff was excellent. They were very polite and professional. They were genuine with their care and concern of my dogs health needs. I rescued an underweight and tic ridden Great Dane. I brought the dog to them for an initial health check up and Lyme disease check. They provided excellent service and a wealth of information on caring for and bring the dog back to health. This is a great vet and I would recommend to everyone.

James City Veterinary Clinic will take great care of your pets! I've been taking my dog there for nearly 8 years for both medical needs and boarding. Dr. Bates and his staff are friendly and helpful. I know they care a lot about my dog and his health and I always feel confident that my dog is in great hands there.

This was my first experience with James City Veterinary Clinic and it was excellent. I managed to take my cat, Jitter, into the vet the day after I called to make an appointment. They were really friendly and clearly experienced. I had a little bit of a wait but that was most likely due to forgetting my paperwork and having to have the details faxed from my previous vet. The doctor was friendly and Jitter seemed to like being there. They were able to take him in for an xray that day which was surprising but really worked well for me. They also offered 10% off using the online coupon, which I hadn't noticed but they put through anyway. Once they completed the xray, they called to give me information and allowed Jitter time to recover from being sedated. I was very happy with the treatment of my pet and of me.

Just got off the phone with Amy!! She was SOOO helpful!!! The staff has always been great and I have boarded with another vet once and was not happy with the way Sophie acted when we got her back. She was a different dog for a week or so. When we boarded with JCVC she was the happy dog she has always been when we got her back!! Thank you for everything!!!! See you Thursday!!
