i brought my dog here who was yelping for no reason, we were told she was fat given pain meds and sent on our way. a week later, no improvement so i took her to another vet, she had anaplasma (a tick disease) and a bulging disk in her neck, and very urgently needed medication. We were given 3 meds at this vet and told to return if she didn't improve, the next day she couldn't walk and was foaming at the mouth, the other vet (carroll vet in hillsville VA) came out on a SUNDAY to see her, if we hadn't taken her to the new vet she would have died. so thanks wythe county animal clinic for almost killing my dog! yes they are affordable, but you get what you pay for. Also a friend of mine worked here, and QUIT because of the conditions they keep animals in.

pmugglestone, you are confusing this highly reputable, highly regarded animal CLINIC with the county animal CONTROL. This veterinary practice has no relation to the story to which you refer. Please get your facts straight before you start slamming people. Drs. Taylor are terrific, caring vets and we are proud to rely on them for our dog's care!

My donkey was attacked by a pack of coyotes on Sunday morning. We called vet after vet not wanting or couldn't see him. After spending the whole afternoon calling out of the phone book I googled vets and they came up. She told me to bring him in and she would meet me since it was an emergency. The clinic took real good care of him and he is on his way to recovery. They were very affordable.

I live in Canada....and you can NOT seriously tell me that dogs living infested with fleas with no daylight are healthy?????? I am referring to "Dogs in a box"----which your vet supposedly thinks are living a healthy life...where is your humanity? I can NOT believe you run a clinic....DISGUSTED! I wouldn't bring a cockroach to your clinic....

Dr. Poole operated on my dog. The care he received there was excellent, and I would recommend anyone that needs veterinary service to have the experts at the clinic look at your animal.
