My airedale had just had a litter of puppies and was not regaining condition afterwards; concerned, I brought her in. I was told that she needed immediate surgery -- as in that day, now! - that would cost $3500 to save the dogs life! and that if the surgery was not done she would not live. While I was concerned about her, $3500 seemed excessive. I took the dog home, gave it a dose of penicillin from the feed store ($12) and three weeks of sleeping in her kennel and lots of food she was back to normal. I am very glad that I did not authorize the treatment recommended by this Vet.

I took my pets there over a few years, and i initially felt like he was a good, honest vet. My most recent visit I called to make an appointment and the lady immediatly said to come back in the afternoon when they had walk ins. I told her i needed an appointment that morning if they had one to exam some abandoned baby animals in poor condition i had found, she finally checked the schedule and said to come in an hour later. I arrived early and was in the waiting room for almost an hour after my scheduled appt. This animal died in the waiting room. Only then did its siblings get seen, and they ran them off. I do not think that hour could have saved this animal, but it should have been a priority. I never got taken to an exam room. I didnt even see the doctor until he gave me my dead animal back and said the others would be fine with meds, have a nice day. He never asked me if i had any questions, especially about caring for the other sick infant animals or general care for them. The prices went way up and i felt like i was being churned out to make room for the next wallet to open. I will not go back, very disappointed. I thought i had found a good vet.

I have been taking all my pets to Family Pet for the past 4 years, I have seen many vets through out my years as a pet owner and I have to say this is ONE OF THE BEST PLACES, the staff are all so caring and I love how the vets come out and talk to you, they don't make you feel stupid with the questions ( As some vets do ) I also love how when I have had to call and hoping to get my pet right in, the girls at the front are so helpfull... Also its great to have the options to come in for the walk in, when I bring my dogs in for there vac's it so much cheaper, and the wait isn't bad at all...As we all know things happen that we don't always like and have no control over, but at this vet clinic I REALLY APPRECIATE EVERYTHING THAT THEY DO TO HELP... Thank you to the staff at Family Pet Medical for helping with keeping my pets happy and very healthy... I will always be one of customers... A.Ball

First of all I would like to thank the staff. This vet clinic has always been a great help to me. I have been there on several occasions and recommend them highly. My mom takes her cat there, my dad takes his dog there and i wouldn't take my dog any where else than there. The walk- in option is great for people that work odd hours.

I never had a problem here except once. There was a short heavy set girl that worked in the front desk that had a attitude problem. I haven't seen her in a long time but if I do I will not let her give me attitude again. Bye for Now.
