3 weeks ago, I was in desperate need of weekend veterinary care with a dog who had tangled with a coyote. From the initial phone call to the wonderful vet, we were extremely happy with the attention and care we received. Particularly I want to mention Dr. Roth; she was absolutely wonderful and caring. Happily, after surgery and several stitches and drains and recovery time, our dog is 100% recovered. This was our first and only experience with this vet clinic and I completely give them 5 Stars for the level of care we received.
Our dog suddenly had a very bloody bowel movement. Thanks to the quick-thinking of a friend and the power of Google, we found emergency animal care quickly. On the phone they asked a number of diagnostic questions, explained their location, and were straightforward about their pricing. They accept credit, so I fail to understand how payment was a problem based on the reviews from other commenters. The staff was extremely courteous. Both the vet tech and the Dr. took the time to check our dog's vitals and look her over for any signs of trouble. They asked us a handful of questions regarding our dog's daily activities, diet, and any changes that may have taken place in the last week or two. The doctor recommended an x-ray to check for foreign objects, and was again up front regarding the cost. After the x-rays, she was very thorough in explaining what we were looking at. We were fortunate to leave with no more than directions for a restricted diet and some antibiotics. I highly recommend this clinic if you find yourself in an emergency on the weekend.
I brought my kitty in with a dislocated elbow at around 2AM. I was so distraught when it happened because I didn't know if anyone could take care of him until the morning. Animal Emergency Care had his elbow fixed in about an hour flat. The price was very very reasonable in my opinion. They put a splint on him that was to stay on for seven days but he ripped it off as soon as we got home so I brought him back and they refunded me for the cone he was in to prevent him from doing that. He was jumping on to my bed and the windowsill, and also his cat tree by 6AM. 24 hours later he wasn't even favoring his non-injured leg that much. It's been 48 hours now and he's slightly less active than normal but all in all he's made an amazing recovery. I was worried his life might never be the same for him. He's basically his old ninja self already. I'm so grateful for this place.
