I have 9 cats and they have all gone to Maplewood Animal Hospital. It's the only place I will ever take them. They treat everyone of my cats as if they were their own. They really do care. And the service is high quality while being extremely affordable. Both of which are rare these days. Thank you Maplewood

I have been to several vets around Whatcom county. Maplewood has been the most honest and I feel the most comfortable there. I appreciate being given options but am never made to feel bad if I do not choose the most expensive ones. My baby Chihuahua broke her toes. She is in a vet wrap cast. It gets dirty or she finds a way to chew it. Even wearing a cone of shame. Once she even pulled it off. The people at Maplewood have helped me by putting on a new wrap, recasting her, explaining how to keep it dry. They have always answered my questions. Every time I have had to bring her in,they have handed her back with a smile and said, "Thanks for bringing her in, there is no charge".Bringing Twinkie in the first time for her broken toes was not cheap. I did not expect it to be. Nor did I expect follow up cast care to be done without cost either. I like the way Twinkie and I are treated by the people at Maplewood. I could go to a "discount" vet for some services. I want Maplewood to be there for us. I will continue to bring my small animals there for their care. I recommend them to all my friends and family.

This is the best vet office we have had in 19 years of taking Labs to 4 different vets in town. Dr. Monroe and Dr Rabkin are both rare breeds in that they are both incredibly compassionate with owners and pets, provide excellent care, and have a hard-working and dedicated staff. Quite the contrast to our experience with Bellingham Veterinary.

We have been "patients" of Dr Rabkin's for almost 10 yrs. He helped us with the most difficult decision we have ever had to make...letting our baby go when it was time, as well as diagnosing and recommending excellent specialists for elbow displasia (sp?). Having come from a community where veterinary care was influenced by local university stature (dollars spent while in the office directly reflecting that) I feel very comfortable knowing that Dr Rabkin's passion for his patients supersedes all else. I highly recommend his care for your fur-baby.
