We became acquainted with this office after adopting a kitten from Burien CARES which included a free checkup for him at BVH. We were treated wonderfully when we made an unscheduled visit with our old friend Jake. The staff were friendly and set us up in a room to wait for the doctor to see us. Jake was well-advanced in years (we never really knew how old he was, but at least 13) and was not doing well despite our efforts to nurse him back to health after a sudden downturn in his condition. We knew the probable outcome of the visit would be having him put down, which is what happened. Having been through this several times before, I can only praise all the staff for their compassion for us and Jake at that difficult time. Even nicer was the hand-written condolences card from the doctor we received in the mail. The fees were what I was expecting for the services: reasonable. No unneeded services suggested or advised. Friendly, accommodating staff. Segregated entries for canine and feline patients. We have a new vet for our feline and canine companions.

A month and a half ago, I went to the vet as My dog, Ripley, was not doing well. I paid over 200 dollars for the visit with no real outcome of a diagnosis expect a 1500 dollar proposal bill to pay. She sounded like a salesman wanting to sell a used car. She was probably so busy to get us pay 1500 dollars that she failed to notice that our dog is indeed dying due to her heart condition. Her heart 4Xed in the past years and was about to stop working. As I am not a vet, I did not find out that she is indeed dying until 2 days ago when she passed away due to suffocation. Her heart gave up working, her lungs filled up with fluids with no possibility of recovering from her condition. Horrible.... I will never go back again and suggest you find another vet.

I have had fabulous experiences with these vets. I have taken two dogs and a cat to them.

It was recently a very sad day for myself and " Buster Brown" my brittany. I chose Burien mainly based on price and what I found was very nice sensitive Doctors and helpers as Buster was put to rest. I liked that I did not have to walk out front to deal with billing as I was quite emotional dealing with the decision to part with my partner of 14 years. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. Thank you again for all your help during this to Buster and the support to me.

Dr. Sibylle Duesberg Kamdar is by far the best vet I have ever had. When I was desperate for help for my doxie who had been diagnosed with end-stage liver disease, five other vets had already told me nothing could be done and that she had 2 months to live. Dr. Duesberg, as she was then, was the only one willing to try. By doing research, finding good specialists, pleading with hospitals for hard-to-find human drugs, she gave Maggie 3 1/2 years more good life. She let me call her at all hours, even when she was on vacation, even when she was on her honeymoon (fortunately I didn't need to.) She will always give your pet dedicated care and the best possible chance of recovery, even in "hopeless" cases.
