Very frustrating! If it weren't for the fact that they are the closest vet clinic, I would never take my animals there again. It wasn't until my dog was on his last few days of suffering life that the vet tried the tested the most likely cause of illness, and barely saved him after managing to wring about $1000 worth of useless tests from us. They performed surgery without our consent, after we had made it very clear that nothing was to be done until we were informed. additionally, they conveniently forgot to mention any (likely) possibilities of a raise in the price of a procedure, even though it was very relevant, not to mention their jobs when we ask "How much will this cost us?" I have had it with BlackHawk. As I mentioned, if they weren't the closest and we without a car, we would never go there again. You may be thinking "what a nasty, judgemental bitch", but no, I have had a bad experience every time I was there, and have managed myself to move on without making a scene. My last visit, on top of all the others, was the last straw, I am giving my review of this establishment.
