Dr. Friedman is simply the best - there is no place I'd rather take my pets. I have 3 dogs and they all love him as well. He is knowledgeable and thorough - and very accommodating (and also very funny). I love that when I make an appt I get in right away, and I get to see HIM, not some random vet or pseudo vet assistant. It's not some sterile unfriendly place that just pushes appts through. I've gone to other places and never seen the same vet twice. If you don't like his phone manners, get over it. You'd be missing out by not coming here.

My husband and I take our dog to see Dr Friedman for regular check ups and when she is sick. He has been such a great veterinarian! He explains things well, very knowledgeable, and caring. He even called us to check on our dog after she was seen at another vet due to a small emergency. Awesome doctor and highly recommended!

I took my dog to Dr Friedman for the past 10-11years. He is an outstanding doctor who obviously loves animals and also is very compassionate to their owners. Had my dog in to see Dr. Friedman quite a few times over the last few months and the charges were always surprisingly low. If you are looking for excellent, personal service at a very reasonable/low cost you cannot beat Dr. Friedman. HIGHLY recommend this veterinarian and when I decide to get another animal he will be the vet I go back to.

I have taken my dog into this vet since he was a puppy. I at first thought he was decent. Not very friendly but competent. After the last visit I will never return I was charged $60 for some eye ointment that is exactly the same as regular Triple Antibiotic Ointment purchased at any pharmacy. I compared the ingredients active and inactive and the amounts of each and they were the same. I called to question why they would charge me so much for something so common, and the vet tech was rude and refusing to offer any answers or solutions. In total I spent $111 for him to tell me what I already knew. My dog had a bacteria infection of the eye. I am disgusted at his practice. I am a single mother who just got laid off from work. I cannot afford for some unfriendly, anti-social, arrogant prick of a vet to charge me for something I can get anywhere! Needless to say I will never go here again.

Dr. Friedman was extremely helpful in diagnosing and treating our 1 1/2 year old Chihuahua Lola. He was not only warm & empathetic, but more importantly he was knowledgeable and experienced in his treating her virus. In addition he followed up with a phone call the next day to check on her recovery, which was pretty much immediate after her intravenous re-hydration and medicine. We highly recommend Cougar Mountain Vet.
