Unfortunately my cat joined a fight club with the neighbors cat, resulting in a chunk of skin missing off of his skull. I ran my cat into Afford A Vet thinking the worst. They assured me that my cat was going to be ok. With in minutes he was taken in and looked over. After only a couple of hours my cat was stitched up and on his way home with his happy kitty drugs for the pain. You can't put a price on the loving care that was given to my cat during a difficult situation. They even called me the next morning to see how he was doing. I'm very happy with Afford A Vet. My cat has yet to leave my side.

Made a phone call first thing this morning and had my dog there within the hour to be neutered. They were friendly on the phone as well as in person. They had my dog all fixed up within a couple of hours and I picked him up on a lunch break. The office was clean and extremely close to home which is convenient. The price was extremely affordable considering how much other places charge where I used to live, I didn't even bother calling around! I'm happy with my experience, my dog is acting like he didn't just get castrated. They're obviously doing something right! I will definitely be coming back when I need vet care!

They were able to take my dog in that day before I had to fly out of town. They took great care of her. Amazing prices. From the front staff to the nurses, to the Dr. Everyone impressed me and made a very stressful time calming. They took care of my baby girl!!! I recommend everyone to Afford A Pet:)

I had 2 dogs,litter mates, for almost 13 years. The first one had to be put down at Afford -a-Vet in Feb & I just recently had to lose my other dog. (I chose another Vet). There is no comparison between the two Vet clinics- Afford-A Vet should hang their head in shame & that is why I decided to write this review. Afford-A-Vet knows of my disgruntlement & has assured me that changes are being made- I hope so, but my experience suggests that they prefer to hide their mistakes & blame others. Right from the start- my 1 & only visit was a disaster. The Vet was unperson-able. She really didn't talk to me at all. She fumbled getting the needle in- the way they were holding my dog was ridiculous & she was becoming more scared. The assistant wouldn't stop to let me get in better position to help & calm my dog. Finally the Vet resorted to a butterfly- which should have been used first. I was having a private cremation. When my dog ashes were not back in the allotted time frame, I started calling daily. They said they were in contact with the crematorium & it was behind schedule- - - -(This was a down & out lie- The crematorium was not behind schedule & didn't even have my dog yet!)It was on the 10th day when my phone conversation ended up with me in tears that this office discovered my dog was still in their freezer. They hadn't been in contact with the crematorium. On day 11, I was told that my dog wasn't back yet & that's when I decided to make my own phone calls & through conversations, I knew something wasn't right. I was assured that my dog would be back to the vet on a specific date & she was. THE VET OFFICE CALLED ME TO LET ME KNOW THAT MY DOG WAS IN. (I'll explain in a moment as to the large caps) When I went to get my dogs ashes- I asked where had my dog been. The receptionist finally fessed up & told me that my dog had been in their freezer all along. Of course I was upset & after I left their office, they said the Vet had tried to call me at home but couldn't get anything. They said each time they dialed- there was nothing- no ringing, busy signal, or voicemail. Strange, so I checked later & sure enough, my phone number was entered wrong in their computer system- leading me to believe that I had transposed numbers giving it to them. Again shift the blame- my number must have been right in my chart because they had called me. The topper with all of this grief- their services were $60 higher than the other place & they didn't even give me a choice of a urn. The other clinic gave me a choice & they use the same crematorium. I am just very sad that I ever entered Afford-A-Vet Clinic & entrusted my beloved to pet to them
