I brought my 6 year old male cat in regarding recent weight gain in his abdomen. QUICK VERSION: Exam was under $60. I wasn't pressured into extensive "what-if" treatments, but rather recommended simple, cautious course of action. When something else entirely came up, I was given a VERY detailed estimate and thorough explanation for everything's cost. (it WILL be more than the same treatment elsewhere, but for good reason, and I intend to have it done here). Neither was I harassed for choosing to feed my cats a raw diet. I was reminded of the need for specific cautions such as parasites that might ride in on the meat since it is uncooked and possible treatments should that become an issue. I and my cat were very comforted by the staff. They were awesome and the atmosphere excellent. It was not cold and clinical like some can be. LONG VERSION: When I made my appointment on the phone with Angela, I immediately had a great feeling about this place. Her phone presence was awesome, which usually means there is hope for the rest of the office. I was lost on my way to my appointment, and Dana was wonderful getting me turned around. Angela was the super awesome tech that greeted us and brought us to a room. My cat wasn't put off by her at all! She was so warm and comforting. (The exam rooms are specific to dogs vs. cats, so no smells that are too strange). Dr. Remsberg was fabulous! I have been spoken down to before by vets regarding my feeding my CARNIVORE cat a MEAT-based diet, not here! Turns out I just need to feed a little less to get that weight off of my boy, but SURPRISE, he needs a good amount of dental work (my bad). I was shocked at the price for cat dentistry, but quickly relieved by what kind of service my cat will be receiving. GO HERE!
