Took all 3 cats in for check up. One needed his teeth looked at. two had teeth pulled? One of the cats dropped all it's weight in a week and a half. 6yrs. old. Took him back, they didn't see anything, curious?? Took him to another Vet, they did blood work and he's dying of kidney failure? Gave him IV fluids, can't do that anymore. He's total skin and bones now. Why didn't the Animal Hospital do blood work before pulling his teeth and putting him under which i understand is standard procedure to ensure it's safe for them. Other vet said it probably would have prolonged his life without the trauma of the surgery. His levels were high when they did blood work.

Needed a new vet for my Pit Bull puppy (Scooby) and I just happen to work next door so was talking to the doctor who is super nice and super great. I took Scooby to be neutered and when I picked him up he was none the wiser he never showed any signs of having surgery and the people there were absolutely awesome I loved it and so did Scooby they are definitely Scooby's new doc

WONDERFUL BEDSIDE MANNER!!! The Vet was caring and warm and knew exactly what the the issue with our pet. We were low on funds and they were able to get us medication for Bella at little to no cost. I recommend this Vet to ANYONE and they will be our primary care for our animals.

Best Vet I have ever used! We have been going to Murphy's Corner for the past 6 years and love their staff and how warm and gentle with our dogs. We have special needs dogs (other animal aggression) and they go out of their way to make sure it is a safe environment. They are very reasonable and at the end of the day give our dogs the same level of love and care we give our dogs. Dr. Sowder is wonderful and I would recommend her to any pet owner!

After being a long-time client for my many furred companions with Dr. Sowder, I have been driven away - and I'm not the only one. A friend I referred to her also left a few months ago for the following reasons. Good luck trying to get someone to answer the phone without putting you on hold for 5 minutes. Trying to get an appointment is next to impossible. Expect about a week's wait - even if you become an established client. Also - expect to run into rude receptionists. She's been through a few. I can't say she's a bad vet, but she can't handle her workload, and this in turn is causing her to not have time to deal with existing patients (try getting a return phone call from her when after she's said she'll call). She has turned out to be the worst vet I have ever had to deal with, and if I could give her zero stars - I would.
