Dr. Evergreen is the best vet my cats have seen in 49 years of cat ownership. He's so gentle and intuitive, I really hate when I need to take them to a different vet. I can't recommend Dr. Evergreen highly enough.

I have been taking my three dogs here for annual exams ever since moving to Monroe. This is a wonderful clinic. It is clean and comfortable with very friendly and patient staff. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. Dr. Evergreen always takes time to address all my questions and concerns. One of my dogs is extremely nervous and doesn’t like to be examined by a vet, but it was a different experience in this clinic. He was able to relax and behaved great with Dr. Evergreen. I have been very happy with all my visits!

It saddens me to have to write a fairly negative review about this facility. First, I do think Dr. Brad Evergreen is a great vet, and I appreciate the time and thoughtfulness he has given my dogs for the past 2 1/2 years. However, his front-desk staff has significantly gone downhill in the last year or so. Rude, incompetent, disrespectful. In one day, it took me 45 minutes to place a simple med renewal because they had a new receptionist. That was frustrating enough. But when I hired someone to drive to Monroe l to pick it up, it wasn't there, and they refused to address it that night. This is something I've done for the past 2 1/2 years -- hired someone to pick up the meds, as their office is almost 40 minutes away. Because of this error, my dog went without his meds that day, even though I informed the receptionist that I was OUT and I needed to pick it up that day. When I ordered it, I was told it would be ready by 2 and the messenger arrived at 4:30. Fortunately it is for thyroid and not too harmful to skip. But I wonder, as one of my dogs enters his senior years, whether front office staff will keep me from getting the proper care for when there is a much higher risk? When I brought that up, I was told that I was "silly and ridiculous." For complete disclosure, the person I sent did mess up and didn't bring my name or my dog's name with her. However, that information was available online (I hired her through TaskRabbit) and she offered to go to a library, look up the information and return. They refused, told her not to bother, they were NOT going to give her any medications because I hadn't given them the messenger's name. The fact that the order was missing and no one asked me for her name was irrelevant to them. I still don't understand why they wouldn't let her return with my name so they could call me and clear it up that night. . I have been doing this for 2 1/2 years -- sending a messenger to pick up the meds, and have had no issues. When I pointed out how it could have been handled better, and my frustration, I was told that there was a new receptionist and therefore I should expect that there would be problems while he learned. I was chastised for complaining. I asked that Dr. Evergreen contact me if he was interested in us remaining his patients and she said to come at 9:30 to pick up the meds and she would make sure he was available to talk to me face-to-face and then she hung up as I was explaining I would not be the person coming and I was trying to give her the information required for the pick-up the next day to go okay. I left a message with the receptionist and the other front office staff member (the one who was rude and hostile) and Dr. Evergreen never called. He may not even be aware that his front desk is ruining his reputation. If I had gone at 9:30, he would have been in surgery. This front office just doesn't care, is rude and disrespectful of the patients in this practice. I've had some previous abrupt and snappish encounters with them over the last year, but it hadn't previously cost me so much in time and money, and potentially put my dog at risk before. Now that it has, and I haven't heard from Dr. Evergreen, I have no other option but to find another vet. As much as I value the care that Dr. Evergreen gave, up to 90% of my interactions with his office is with his front office staff. I can't risk the health and life of my dogs to his office staff, so I will be switching vets. Really sad when a great professional's reputation is getting ruined by his staff.

We have been treating our poodles allergies with very little success for several years with many visits to different vets and many different treatment plans with many different food changes. I had lost one poodle with the skin issues that weren't treatable with those medications given. Then, I went to Evergreen Holisitic with a tiny hope that he could make a difference but after two treatments with the meds he prescribed I saw remarkable healing in my poodles skin issues. I highly recommend Dr. Evergreen for any pet issue. He is very wise on holistic treatments that don't cause any additional damage to our beloved pets. I thank God for Dr. Evergreen because I know with the treatements prescribed by him we have been given many more years with our beloved pets..
