Dr. Conner and her staff are amazing. In September 2014, I brought my cat Buddy in because he was lethargic and just not himself, plus he was peeing outside the box. Come to find out he had a urinary tract infection and stayed there the weekend. My daughter and I were extremely upset because Buddy is a wonderful kitty and for him to be so sick and we didn't realize it, was extremely unsettling and scary! We came back on Monday and were able to bring him home. We were given prescription pet food specifically for UTIs and now ALL our cats eat it (and love it and won't eat anything else!). We came back every week for about a month to get weekly antibiotic injections. He is back to his old, mischievous self. Dr. Conner was very helpful and a Godsend. I will be going to her from now on for all my kitties.

I recently found Dr Conner at A Healing Vet while doing research on the internet. I have good instincts and I appreciate the reviews, they helped. I was not at all disappointed, My new little rescue dog just came to me from Calif and I wanted him checked out. He was treated very gently and his needs were explained to me. He had developed a cough, I took him to Dr Conner again the next day. She wanted to try antibiotics even tho' I was concerned he may have something stuck in his throat. She made it easy for me to trust her to give him antibiotics and she was right, that was yesterday and he is already much better today. Hasn't coughed for several hours. It is obvious that she really cares for the animals and this is her chosen craft, not just a business. Her prices are reasonable and as a senior, that is very important to me. She will be my dog Noki's vet for sure. Compassion and being in tune to the animals is a gift. Dr Conner has both. Friendly staff too.

I accidentally found Dr. Conner when looking for a local Acupuncturist. Although she was able and versed in acupuncture she was busy but handed me a book to read while she was finishing up and asked me to read it and that we would discuss. She offered me another option which turned out to be the best thing for my dog. I have 6 dogs and all of them go to Dr. Conner. She is a very caring, knowledgable and a wonderful vet. My dog's don't shake but we go out to potty and then they trot in and are happy to see Dr. Conner and all of her staff. They have no fear at all any more and are treated as she would treat her own animals. We will NEVER go anywhere else! It is nice to have an affordable prices as well as a vet who isn't there M-F only and works when I have time away from work to take my guys into her. SHE IS AWESOME!

EDIT: Posted this review on Yelp, and it has been removed. My experience at A Healing Vet was nothing short of unprofessional, upsetting and completely unacceptable. I came to get my puppy's last set of shots per my regular family vet, which is 30+ minutes away. In an effort to save time and an exam fee I went to A Healing Vet and regretted it almost immediately. My puppy had an accident on the floor after 15 minutes of waiting for my appointment. When I apologized and asked Dr. Connor for something to clean it up with she asked me to take the puppy outside. When I said she didn't need to go outside as she had just pottied (unfortunately on the floor, but hey, she's a puppy) the doctor insisted that we leave for a bit. Well, okay then. I was uncomfortable and embarrassed that my puppy pottied and would have expected more understanding from someone in the vet field. Ten minutes later she was still cleaning up the accident but after we came in stood in the lobby for several more minutes she finally finished and the appointment began. She then spent another 15 minutes looking at and misreading my booklet of vaccinations. When I mentioned something my last vet said in terms of my puppy's vaccination schedule she actually yelled at me to "take her there if you like them so much" and that "who is she to argue when she's just trying to help" and that "she didn't really care what I did." I was completely taken aback by her behavior and honestly I should have just run at that point but I had already committed 30 minutes to this appointment and wanted to stick it out. The appointment went on with Dr. Connor examining my puppy, holding her down while she squirmed with no treats offered or anything. She did speak nicely to her and said how cute she was but she didn't take her temperature or weigh her as they usually do at my family vet. As we spoke about things (I was uncomfortable with paying anything to this clinic at this point so I decided against doing shots at Healing Vet) I was playing and petting with the pup, who was still on the exam table. As she licked and mouthed my hand (once) Dr. Connor grabbed her mouth, closed it shut firmly and said "NO BITE". I was completely enraged and mortified by this. Puppy was crying and clearly uncomfortable and I was upset- we never do negative reinforcement with her, especially at the vet and when being looked at in a strange place and are okay with mouthing at this point because we are wanting to teach her a soft mouth, which she's been improving with. Dr. Connor didn't seem at all bothered by this and went on to talk about flea treatments and training her horses not to bite as I got my puppy off the table and left the clinic. I would not recommend this place to absolutely anyone and more than that, ask that no one support this business. I will absolutely never be back and advise you to do the same. My puppy is thankfully fine and doesn't seem traumatized by this visit, but did have a bloody knick on her tongue from having her mouth clamped shut.

Dr. Connor is a kind, gentle competent doctor. Her prices are more than fair and she has the well being of your pet foremost in her mind. I most highly recommend her services. She took care of my King Charles Cavalier (Kacie) as if it were her own.
