YOU NEED TO BE VERY PUSHY ABOUT FOLLOW UP. My 14 year old diabetic cat was referred here due to suspected glaucoma or brain tumor. Dr Sullivan was absolutely terrific with him; he clearly can form a positive connection with animals. He eliminated the glaucoma possibility but offered that the cat might have a brain infection. So he drew blood and had it tested for Crypto and Toxo. I left VERY FAVORABLY IMPRESSED. Later in the week I called to discuss the results. I was told that Dr Sullivan would likely not be able to call back that day. so I twisted the arm of the staff member to send me the results by email. (tests were negative). I called the next week to discuss the results and see what Dr Sullivan would recommend. Were these tests definitive? no call back. I called again. no call back. I waited a few days. Dr Sullivan is not working today. So, I have to conclude he has no recommendation and also that he has no interest in relaying that to me either in person or through his staff Thus the mediocre rating. Would I go there again. yes, if necessary, but I would be even more pushy about follow-up.
I have been going to Animal Eye Clinic for years with several cats. Two of my cats have had surgery in the past and other minor eye issues. I think this business is fantastic. Very professional staff, and my cats love Dr. Sullivan. He is so calm and sweet with them. I would recommend this clinic to anyone, and recommend my clients to them as well. Dr. Landry was very knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. I finally felt my pooch was in good hands after having her corneal ulcer misdiagnosed twice by different vets as "seasonal allergies." I understand that some vets don't have the full range of knowledge to diagnose eyes very well, but they should refer out. My dog was suffering while I sat on my hands, thinking there was nothing I could do about seasonal allergy problems. Thank goodness someone at work recommended the Animal Eye Clinic. Expensive, but with the right diagnosis and treatment, it turned out to be more economical than a less expensive vet. The best part is, she's healed and happy again. Thanks, Dr. Landry.
My dog had to have an eye removed and the care he received was great. Dr. Landry explained everything clearly.
I've been taking my dogs to the Animal Eye Clinic for years. They have received loving care every single time. Both doctors are simply amazing, both in their knowledge as well as their bedside manner. I can't recommend this place enough.
