We usually take our 13 year old dog to see Dr. Price, but our last visit was a bit more urgent and Dr. Price wasn't available until the afternoon, so we saw Stephanie Edwards instead - we were highly disappointed. She glanced over our concerns (it turned out not to be a big problem), but then promptly started suggesting additional tests and procedures we should do with our dog. I told her our dog was already diagnosed with cancer that had metastasized and had already been through surgery, and all we wanted was to give our dog a peaceful, comfortable last few months without putting her through any other procedures. She agreed then but immediately called the next day saying that she could see that the cancer had spread on the x-rays she took and to call her to discuss options. Honestly, we've taken our dog to multiple hospitals for her cancer already. She has had surgery, had consultations with both the surgeon and an oncologist, and both said that there was no hope - chemotherapy would only put our dog through unnecessary pain and suffering. It is already an extremely painful topic for my entire family, and we did not appreciate Edward's commercial demeanor at all. It felt like she was trying to use our dying dog, whom I have had since I was six years old, my best friend, to milk our family for money. I will never, never see Stephanie Edwards again. If you ever go to NE Vet, ask to see Robert Price.
