Dr. Price has been regularly seeing our now 13-year-old pomeranian ever since she developed heart disease when she was 10 and he's always been very calm and gentle during the exams. You can tell that he honestly cares for our dog (he nicknamed her "kid"), and isn't in it just for the money. A couple of times he even followed us out to the front desk when we were getting to ready to pay for our exam and told the receptionist not to charge us and to count it as a follow-up exam. However, we really began to appreciate Dr. Price's honesty when we first found out that our dog had a tumor on her spleen; we were given the choice of doing the surgery at NE Vet., or going to the Animal Surgical Center up in Shoreline. Dr. Price gave us an unbiased recommendation to take the surgery to the other clinic, saying that because of our dog's advanced heart disease, she'd have a better chance at the Animal Surgical Center because they were better equipped. (Unfortunately, even with the surgery, after doing labwork on the tumor the surgeon and the oncologist said that the cancer had already metastasized). We've seen three veterinarians at NE vet so far, and Dr. Price is the only one who has not tried to push additional procedures on us. He was very understanding when our dog was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and did not take it as an opportunity to coerce us into other tests (which one of the other vets did try to do). I highly recommend Dr. Price, and I honestly mean it when I say that he takes care of our dog. We've had our dog ever since I was six years old; she is and always will be my best friend, and she will be dearly missed when she leaves us. Thank you Dr. Price.
