Rainier Beach Vet Hospital has been our two Welsh Corgis's (Belle and Rain) and American Shorthair's (Champ) home away from home for many, many, many years. Our departed beloved Budd's, too! Dr. Young and Dr. Deal are tops....they are compassionate and treat each pet as their own. The Staff are friendly and very accommodating, as well.

Dr. Young is the the most compassionate vet I have ever come across. I brought him the love of my life, Harry, a Black Miniature Poodle who was very sick. I heard about this Vet from the person who gave me the little dog.Dr.Young spent 5 days trying to save his life. He ran test after test and called me twice a day for updates. My little guy died on the fifth day, but not before Dr. Young called and said there was nothing more he could do and that I should come at once. He carried my dog to the car as if it were his own and handed him to me. I have been devastated by the loss of Harry and I have not thanked him yet for his devotion to my little one. I know he did everything in his power to try to save him. Thank You Dr. Young!!! I will never forget you. You will get a card from me as soon as possible. I am finally feeling better and have found a rescue dog(poodle/Terrier mix) He almost died a couple of days ago in a California Shelter. I bring him home on Tuesday. I could not go to another vet after my experience at Rainier Beach. The whole staff is awesome.

Outstanding veterinary care at a reasonable price. couldn't ask for more!

I cant tell you enough how pleased I am with a vet that charges what one should. It was refreshing to take my cat to get his teeth cleaned and not have to fight the front staff as well as the vet for wanting them to do more things. Thank you thank you. They were nice and professional and I am pleased all around. You do have to get there real early to get a place in line. no appts just first come first serve. They open at 9 and by then on a rainy day there were already 10 people outside wating,

Best vets ever. We've been bringing our pets here for over 20 years. Kind, compassionate, thorough, and obviously in it for the love of animals (they sure can't make much money!), we love Dr. Young and Dr. Deal.
