We went through a rough time with our 10 year old German Short hair Pointer having seizures. the seizures started in July and Dr. Michael was amazing with the care he gave us and the dog. We were able to stop the seizures and have 5 more months with our pet. When the time comes to have another dog we wouldn't think of going anywhere else but Noble Hound. Both Dr. Michael and Dr. Melissa are great.
We can not say enough good things about Dr. Michael. He is amazing. We have a golden that has HORRIBLE allergies and a new little Morkie. Obviously they both mean the world to us. We were very impressed with his knowledge, his patience and the way he treated our girls. He put together a treatment plan, explained everything and we feel like for the first time in a very long time that we have a doctor that really CARES about our girls. We are forever grateful for Noble Hound!!! Highly recommend to anyone needing a vet that will treat your animal as if it was his own.
My husband and I just picked up our dog today after a wonderful trip up north. We had our dog boarded for two days/nights. When we dropped him off the staff was very friendly, told us if anything were to happen they would contact us. We came back to get him, walked up to the desk and the young man at the counter told me I owed him almost $100 when I was quoted $52 he nonchalantly mentioned they gave our dog a sedative and some anti-diarrhea medication. Um...they couldn't call to tell us they needed to SEDATE our dog and that he was sick? We are still pretty upset! The guy DID take the amount off our bill for the shot they administered without our consent but did charge us for the meds. So we ended up paying $70 for who knows what kind of care and meds in his belly. We had to throw out his dog bed and toys too because it just REAKED! We read a lot of positive reviews on his place and thought everything was going to be just fine. We will never be returning to Noble Hound in the future or be recommending them to anyone!
To Doug' I used to live in the Dells area and brought my dogs to both the Dells Animal Hospital and to Noble Hounds. I found Dells A H to be cold and not as compassionate. I brought in one of the shelties, very sick and the doctor was going to start antibiotics right away but didn't do anything. Overnight he got worse and died the next day. I think that was neglect. Dr. Melissa has a lot of compassion for the animals that come in. We were fostering pups from Hurricane Katrina and she took care of all 3 pups free of charge. She might do some quirky things like painting the toenails, but I would be more concern on the treatment and care of my pet. To me she is the best.
We come up from the Chicago area for several days and because of the friendly staff and consistency of their operation there, I am excited to be able to leave our weimaraner there. Peace of mind is what it is all about and the cost is fair. Good, clean, modern facility doesn't leave you wondering about the place. You can see for yourself. The desk attendant was on the phone, got off, and took my information, called for a tech to come get Mazie and voila...it was Keenan who took care of her lovingly last November. She remembered him and had some kisses for him so obviously, she wasn't mistreated. No hesitation at all about this place!!! Whenever we are in the area, we will bring her here as she deserves a vacation/playtime too!
