I took my two cats (Donald and Ari) to Odyssey for two years until I moved out of state. The vets (I saw both Dr. Stokes and Dr. Lewis) were amazing and took really great care of my cats. They were extremely patient with both the cats and me during every exam, always taking the time to answer my questions and really making me into a better cat owner. Both the vet techs and vets made great effort to make sure my very nervous cat, Ari, felt comfortable during his visits. The Odyssey staff's approach really resonate with what I consider to be optimal pet care. I'm extremely concerned with the practice of overmedicating pets, preferring to use drugs as a last resort, and I'm happy to say that it was never an issue at Odyssey. The vets were very focused on preventative care and rightfully stressed the importance of getting my tubby cat, Donald, to lose weight. When Donald got a dental cleaning, the staff made sure I stayed informed from the start - from giving me both high and low end estimates of the procedure, to walking me through what needed to happen, to giving me multiple calls after the cleaning updating me on how Donald was doing. It was overall a great experience, and I definitely recommend Odyssey.

I have known Dr. Stokes for most of her veterinary career and she is an excellent vet who had always provided my cats with the best in vet care. Her examinations are very thorough and she is careful to recommend needed testing, but nothing excessive or unnecessary. Everyone at her clinic has been friendly and helpful to me. I find the prices at the clinic very reasonable for the quality of care provided. Dr. Stokes and the Vet clinic was also very helpful and compassionate with the passing my cat and those of my daughter. I am a professor in the UW Medical School so I know good medical care when I see it!

Odyssey Veterinary Clinic was wonderful during this last difficult year. Often I needed last minute refils of fluids (ringers?) for my cat, BK and they always accommodated me. The morning I knew he needed to pass, (New Years Eve) they were able to come over by noon to help end his suffering. Thank you so much.

When I first adopted my puppy a year ago, I was skeptical about finding a vet. Growing up, my family did not have good experiences with the vets in our area. But, a friend recommended Odyssey, so I decided to take my chances. Turns out, Reggie LOVES going to the vet. So do I. Everyone is so kind. They treat us like family and show every ounce of love to your pet. They just genuinely care and in this world, that's difficult to find. In addition, the facilites are always so neat and clean. No matter where I live in the Madison area, I will always take Reggie to Odyssey. The drive is worth it to know my puppy is in good hands!

My dog sees Dr. Stokes for his vet care and she is the best vet ever. She understands my dog's unique needs and I highly recommend them! Their facility is extremely clean and the staff is wonderful. They also have an awesome Halloween event every year!
