This place WAS the place to take your pets however after our last experience we will never go back. We picked up our 2 dogs on July 5th after boarding them for a week. When we returned home we noticed that both dogs were acting funny. We ended up having to take both dogs to the Animal ER! One had a double eye infection, a scratch on one of her eyes and an infected sore on her belly. The other had KENNEL COUGH and a bacterial skin rash. When we contacted Animal Campus the girl on the phone simply stated that their Vet there had been closed for the holiday and that someone would get back to us. They never got back to us. They knew the dogs weren't well and they didn't do anything about it!
Initially loved when I was looking for a vet with a more gentle hand for my boxer mix. Then I referred a fiend who had left a message and noone returned her call to make an appointment. Shortly after taking my dog for her annual blood draw, I called and was informed that our vet was no longer there. Apparently moved up north and is running own clinic. Letters went out- guess they missed us... These are doctors for our animals??
We boarded my black lab mix at Animal Campus over the Easter weekend. When we picked him up on Sunday evening we were told he had just come in from swimming in the pond. We were glad to hear that he was out enjoying the pond but a little worried about putting a dripping wet dog in the back of our car. We were pleasantly surprised to find they had dried him off before we arrived. I also appreciated that they invited us back into the kennel area both when we dropped him off and picked him up. They clearly have nothing to hide. We have boarded him at several day care type boarders and he smelled better leaving Animal Campus than he usually does leaving other kennels. He was happy and tuckered out from his short stay and we'll definitely be bringing him back in the future. Well worth the money.
I absolutely love taking our two small dogs here! The 2 vets are very caring and remember your animals each time. Animal Campus Klipperz area is also wonderful!!Nick (i believe he's the owner) is also so nice and always makes sure you are happy with the cut. He runs a great business! It is a great place to have all these service in one area. AND their prices are very reasonable! I reccomend all my friends and family there!
It's an ok place. They have great facilities and we have always had a good experience there, but since the time they opened to now it has been looking really run-down which kinda of stinks because I know a lot of people go here and they expect something really great and up to date, but it just seems like it's slumping. No matter what I still like the place. Their prices are very high compared to other boarding and vet clinics around it, but if price doesn't bother you then I would say take your dog here.
