Absolutely exceptional veterinary clinic. We've been taking both our dogs here for as long as I can remember! All the staff, from receptionists to veterinarians and all in between truly love their job, as it shows in their interactions with our pet-family. I needed to get a replacement rabies certificate and tag, they made it painless and free! Five stars. We'll be taking our family pets here as long as we have pets, and as long as they exist!!

I took my two ferrets to Janesville Veterinary Clinic East for vaccinations and yearly checkup, and I was pleased with the service I received. My appointment started promptly at the time I had schedualed, the staff were able to handle all my questions, and Dr. Mike seemed quite comfortable examining and giving shots to two very squirmy ferrets. Also, I like that the information from my pets exam was made available online through the "Pet Portal" system. The only negative is that they didn't request to keep the ferrets there for a little while for observation after their vaccinations. I've known this to be standard procedure at other vets because ferrets can have severe and deadly reactions to vaccines, and they need immediate treatment if they start to show a reaction. But they did caution me to watch out for a reaction and call them if I noticed anything. On the whole, I would recommend both Janesville Veterinary Clinic East and Dr. Mike Hotchkiss to local ferret owners.
