We were looking for a new vet in town and saw good review for Lakeshore Vet, but after one run in with their staff, we are looking elsewhere.

Most of the staff is friendly only a couple seemed helpful when I was making my kitten n cats appointment I didn't feel like the staff was listening. When I get home with my animals my kitten who was spayed n declawed still had a nice sized piece of gauge stuck to her paw. I went to this place on several good recommendations, disappointing this ended up being a bad experience. Not to mention I had to drive back from Racine to have the gauge removed as it was glued to heavy on her paw

My dog was very sick, i called into this vet to see what the cost would be to put him down. i new that is what would happen. They suggested i bring him in. I did and they did testing on him, kept him for a few nights and were just wonderful with him. He is perfect now back to his old self. My cat then got out and was brought to the human society, i had to come to Lakeshore to get his prepaid rabies shot. they were the cheapest around! and they were great with him when i brought him in. i will be bringing in my 2 kittens when i get them to get declawed because i know they will do a great job!!

Been going here for years. He is an expert and reasonably priced. I get the multiple animal discount! He has put down my old buddies with sincere care and sympathy. He has rescued two when I thought they were goners. I recently moved from Kenosha but still take the trek back for vaccinations, checkups and veterinary food for my diabetic cat. Even his prescription cat food is reasonably priced. My cat broke his leg and paw and hid for hours, he wouldn't let me get near him or his leg. When he was carted to Dr. Kahn you would of thought nothing had happened. Doc twisted, felt around up and down and my nipping, growling cat became putty in his hands. I highly recommend Dr. Kahn and his staff. They are a busy bunch so be patient.

A few months back I brought my high energy 1 yr old male cat BudderMac to Dr. Kahn's office to check on an ear infection. BudderMac, scratched his inner ear due to ear wax build up which became infected. Dr. Kahn and staff were very kind and impressed me by looking out for his over all health and attention to the situation at hand. With a good cleaning, antibiotics and some ear drops later...he seems to be happier and his ear healed since then. If you are an animal lover like me, Dr. Kahn and his staff are the place to be for the best care....also we all know vet bills can be over inviting, but not with their office. They are reasonably priced.
