I would like to say some positive things about this clinic. I had been having some serious personal problems and should have taken my Russian Blue cat, Boris, into the vet six month to a year before I actually did. I worked with Dr. Elaine Binor. The feeling I had was that she loved my cat as much as I did. After an ultrasound and some bloodwork, she suggested he get a biopsy. She called Boris and I in and showed me the pictures taken during the biopsy. Working in the healthcare field, I knew it was not good. We did indeed find cancer. I freaked out, but worked with Dr. Binor and took my cat in for treatment at the University of Wisconsin Vet Hospital. This was my idea, but she said she would be glad to work with us to get him better. I went in with the attitude, "do whatever it takes to help my cat, and let's work together to break down every sign and symptom to get him better" So it was a joint, team effort. It takes work on the owner's part to speak up and take the initiative with the vet to let them know you want to do your part, too! I am happy to say that my cat is stable with his condition. Dr. Binor has studied and done research for me to help me get the most modern treatment for my cat. I also have another cat who is VERY difficult to deal with. She has taken excellent care of Emily, despite the fact she behaves like a pit bull. When Emily was stressed out over Boris, she had the patience to get Emily better. Owning a pet does indeed mean you must spend money. Do not get a pet if you do not want to spend money on their healthcare. That is what living in a modern, free country is all about!! I am thankful to Dr. Binor!
