I have been going to this veterinarian for over ten years. I'm not sure why. The last vet I went to was expensive, but wonderful. I wonder sometimes if Dozer would have lived longer if they had cared for him like Companion Pet Care did. I switched because they became a chain, and I thought that was worse, and would become even more expensive. WI Valley Vets never became familiar with me or my pets. When I called them for advice or help, they would never even ask who I was. Last year, my cat died. I called them, and asked them if I could bring him in. I told them I could pawn my wedding ring, and pay them the next day. They said no. I told them he couldn't breathe. It made no difference, and if they would've looked at their records, they would've seen that I had been bringing Nova there for about 13 years. But they never even asked who I was.

Not only was the vet rude and completely unconcerned about the comfort of my cat, but they also overcharged me! I would never go there again nor would i ever recommend that anyone else bring their pet this this clinic. Unless you're dealing with livestock and could care less about the kindness or compassion extended to you and your animal, please, do not take your animal to this place.

The Doc not only figured out that my English Bulldog had Lyme's Disease when he first saw her (before the blood test), but showed a ton of compassion for her. Perhaps it's because Bulldogs are the coolest dog that God ever created, or because he gives a damn. Bottom line, way better service, and without the guilt hype that VCA throws at you, thanks Doc Rupnow!!!
