Help For Animals is a wonderful, caring veterinarian office. Both of my dogs are treated like family when they are there.
They Killed My 4 Year Chihuahua, He Started To Throw Up Constantly, Took Him In, They Looked At Him (No Test) Said It Was A Heart Murmur And Gave Him A Shot, Heart Medicine And Antibiotics, Said He Would Be OK In A Few Days, To Bring Him Back In Three Days, Before I Got Him Back To The Car, He Started Bleeding Very Bad From Bowels, Rushed Him Back In, Again (No Test ) At All, Said Inflamed Bowels, Got Him Home And In About Few Hours Started To Get Very Worse (Bleeding From Bowels Very Bad, Throwing Up, Could Not Hold Water Down, Got To The Point He Would Not Try To Drink Nothing, By Then I Tried To Call Them (Closed) So I Talked To Their Answering Service, To Have Doctor Call Me, No One Never Called Me At All, Like No One Cared, By Then I Called A 24 Hours ER For Animals, Never Knew 24 Hour Animal ER Was Available, Took Him There, They Said The Would Try To Save Him But He Was Very Bad, Ran Blood Work And Other Test, But He Died, They Said He Died From Kidney Failure!! PS:Very Special, Very Smart Intelligent Dog, Not Like, But He Was My Family, Even Had Birth Certificate With Him Having My Last Name, I Would Not Trust These People With No Animal Of Any Kind, If You Love Them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They were great! One of the most positive experiences I have had in a vet setting in forever.
I loved the care my cat received from the Vet and support staff at Help for Animals and I love the fact that animals are their true focus and not money. Everyone was very nice and supportive. I also like the facility, very clean, neat and smelled good!
I brought my dog to Help For Animals to be neutered because this is the cheapest vet in the area. Horrible mistake! The people at the front desk are rude first of all. But the craziest thing I have ever heard of is that they somehow only removed one of his testicles. ARE YOU SERIOUS? A week after I brought him home I noticed what appeared to be a testicle. Took him back and they said that they must have missed it... Again. ARE YOU SERIOUS? So they say bring him back Friday and they will remove it for free. My wife takes him first thing in the morning on Friday and they say that they don't have her marked down while being rude. So they call the vet who was supposed to set it up to verify and do just that. My wife missed class and was late for work because of this. Now he has been neutered for the second time and I just check to see if it is healing ok and there is a gaping wound that does not even appear to have been stitched up. I will never take another animal to this butcher shop again and I would not recommend to anyone else to do so.
