Love the Vets & Reception. They are all very sweet and kind. Not only do they care about my animals but they care about my family as well. The doctors are always on hand to talk about the condition of your pet and they always call back promptly. The rate for getting work done is reasonable. Highly recommended!

My experience at this particular vet was great. To start off with the receptionist were very kind about taking mine and my dogs information. The vet tech walked out to my car with me to help bring my dog inside (she had been hit by a car and dislocated her shoulder). She walked me through every procedure they were doing and explained everything including the costs before each procedure was performed. Once xrays were done the doctor (Dr Grady) came out and personally showed me the pictures and explained all information that I needed to know. She was kept overnight for monitoring after it was popped back in place. Dr. Grady and her Vet Tech really were a big help and I would recommend this office for anyone or any pet. Not to mention the facility was very clean.

After a regular check up last week, my friend warned me about this vet, telling me her horror story about how her cats kidney failure went unnoticed for months, resulting in the slow death of her cat. When my cat got very sick, I debated taking him to a different clinic for this reason, but they had his recent prescription history so I took him anyway. The sent him home after an overnight emergency stay that took nearly an hour to coordinate. We got him home and he wasn't breathing right, he kept screaming. I called and they said not to worry, just leave him alone, it's normal. Then an hour later they called back because "they got to thinking" something did sound wrong. I had to listen to my baby choke on his lung fluid and stop breathing on the car ride there. My boyfriend gave him cpr while I broke every speed limit, he died. In less than 2 hours my cat went from being fine... to dead. Please don't put yourself in the position I am in, asking if you would have made a different decision, taken your best friend somewhere else, if they would be alive or well. Just take them elsewhere and pray for them. Unlike william I did not experience any rude treatment, I just feel like my problem was trivialize and I had to listen and watch my baby die slowly and painfully for it. I have never felt so helpless in all my life.

I originally wrote this on 07/29/11:The entire office was extremely friendly and helpful...from the receptionists to the vet assistants and especially the vet (Dr. Adams) who I saw today for my dog. I will definitely come back and tell all of my friends of my fantastic experience...I went back to them today, 12/3/11 and had the same great experience

I have been taking my dog to TriState for over 6 years. He followed them as they moved from Route 60 in Huntington to Merritt's Creek in Barboursville. I have always been pleased with the care he has received. Dr. Chevalier is wonderful and very personable. When my dog was very ill, she called me back to answer my questions (once he was home again) and with her care, he is now 100 percent again. I have always felt like I was giving my dog the best treatment possible by taking him to TriState. My family members and several friends take their animals there as well. Sometimes the wait is a little long, but I know it is because they are taking care of other animals and do have emergencies that come in. I personally think Google needs to get rid of the bad reviews from people who gave them a bad review because someone else gave a bad review. Makes NO sense to me. Try them out before you judge! I'm hard to please and picky about my dog because he is my baby and I don't take him any place but TriState.
