My name is Brandi Massey. Dr. Streit has been the vet to our animals for 12+ years. I have nothing but praise for him, his staff and the quality of service we received each and every time we are in the clinic. We are made to feel welcome from the moment we pull into the lot. I have called Dr. Streit countless times at all hours of the night and day with issues ranging from emergency trauma to a sneeze (Yes, I'm serious. He is THAT attentive.) and he has never failed to return my calls. More than once, I have had an emergency that required him awaking from sleep and meeting me at the vet and he has always done so gladly. If he does not know the answer to something I ask, he will do the research and find the answer. In response to Concord and Nickname, I would like to say that I believe each of these reviews to be from one person. Dr. Streit does not promote 'pet chow' made with chemicals, by-products or grains and on more than one occasion he and I have discussed an all natural diet for my pets and he is in favor of this. It is very possible that your ferret was so ill by the time you got her that feeding her a natural diet while healthy did not contain the right balance of necessary ingredients to sustain an already sick animal. I am sorry you lost your pet, but I feel your anger and blame are displaced. As you are coming back here over a year later to post the same review under a new name, perhaps you should consider getting some professional help to work through your grief and move forward. In the interest of following Google's policy concerning fake reviews (I consider the same review from the same person using two different names to be fake.), I have flagged the Concord post as inappropriate and would encourage others to do the same.

Wonderful Vet!! I am appalled at the negative nature of the previous reviews. I have found the veterinarians of All Creatures to be helpful and kind, with a thorough knowledge of animal care. They care tremendously about your pets and understand what pets mean to their owners. They seek diligently to find the root source of a problem rather than practicing “band aid” medicine. Dr. Streit responds to emergency calls forwarded to him by the answering service, going so far as to meet clients with critical patients late into the night at the office. He is a teacher at heart, and thoroughly explains the problem and what is required to diagnose. Good pet ownership means taking care of your pet at all times, making sure they are up to date on preventative care, and seeking help at the onset of a problem rather than waiting for the pet to become so sick that medical intervention is impossible. Early diagnosis and treatment can mean the difference between a positive and negative outcome.

I saw the male vet a few years ago and he was aweful. He did not have any exotic animal knowledge and told me WRONG care instructions! When one my my rescued ferrets died due to poor nutrition at her previous home, he blamed me and told me it was my fault because I was giving her a natural diet! This same natural diet has saved my 4 others from developing insulinoma!

My little girl was dead, in a shoebox in front of me, when the vet decided to tell me how horrible of a pet parent I was for my choice of a natural diet! The fact that I rescued her and gave her a better life meant nothing to him! He just though "pet chow" made with chemicals, bi-products, and grains were a better choice than a fresh, all natural selection.
