I went to see Dr. Wilt when my dog Max got very ill. He was an old dog and he was in very bad shape so I didn't want to drive him too far (I normally go to a different vet in Hedgesville). Max was beyond help and he needed to be put to sleep. This was a very sad and emotional thing for my family and I and Dr. Wilt and his staff handled the very delicate and difficult situation with an incredible level of caring and compassion - I could not have asked for anyone better to help my poor puppy and me through such a bad situation. I have another dog and she will now be going to see Dr. Wilt because he is a very kind and caring veterinarian and it is obvious he isn't just trying to charge for whatever he can like many vets seem to do. I would recommend Dr. Wilt to anyone who wants a compassionate care giver for your furry loved ones, as he seems to be in his profession for the right reasons.
